Just returned from a weeks holiday at the Decameron Hotel in Boa Vista. In summary, it was a fantastic week - just the place to relax. Having read some other reviews, I was slightly apprehensive about the hotel, but many of these reviews are in my opinion inaccurate and where people have clearly not understood where they are holidaying. Hope...

After much research to find the hottest place to go for a beach holiday at the end of March (without the long haul flight to the Caribbean) my boyfriend and I decided on Cape Verde. We got a great deal through holiday hypermarket, the 6 hour flight from East Midlands went very quickly and we were not disappointed with the...

A really nice hotel and well placed, close to the airport. The actual hotel is well appointed, the food and drink excellent. Staff all very polite and helpful. Our room was a suite which was clean and tidy and sea facing 507. On the downside there were minor issues like poor decorating paint splashes, the shower plunger was missing and...

Just returned after 2 weeks and we loved it. 1st week was better with very few kids. Found it hard to fault but if pushed would say that the food could have been hotter. Rooms were huge and cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly. A great place to chill out relax and get a tan which is just what we...

We had a lovely relaxing break at the Royal Decameron Hotel in Boa Vista. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are all really nice. Food is OK and hotel is value for money but don't expect luxury. I would say it is more like a 3 star hotel although it is rated 4 star. Pool is freezing cold...

Everyone has their own viewpoints and experiences so I will list our personal experience at the Royal Decameron hotel with the good points together with a few pointers that may help other people that visit Cape Verde. 1. Our room was surprisingly spacious with a bedroom, a lounge, bathroom and patio area with a great if not slightly restricted view...

We've just got back from a week at the royal decamaron and it was just what we needed. This is a place to get away, relax, de-stress and get a tan. This isn't really an activities or cultural holiday so if you want those things, don't come here. Yes there are activities, but not many and everything is very expensive...

we went as a group of 4 adults for a week in March, it was the best week ever. Having read the other reviews good and bad thought you cannot please everyone but cannot understand why people would think this hotel is not worth a visit but it is. The rooms are basic yes but very clean with towels and...
