All all-inclusive hotel, bounded by a very long beach, scrub/desert inland and nearest settlement about 5 km away. This is Africa, not Europe. Everything on the spot: excellent food in the hotel, entertainment provided during the day and evening if you want it (9.30pm shows are a must), large, warm swimming pools. Go out and you have a long empty...

We just had a great week in the sun at the Royal Decameron hotel, a very nice hotel All the rooms seem to have nice views of the ocean with balconies and clean great locations right on the massive beach. This is a great hotel to just chill out around one of the 3 pools our on the large open...

This is an all-inclusive hotel, and I must say the food was fabulous. There was a great variety that should suit everybody, the food was continually topped up so it did not run out whatever time you went for a meal. There was also a beach bar with good food and snacks during the day. The draught beer was good,...

The Hotel is less than 15 mins drive from the airport, on arrival at the hotel you have to pay 20 euros each ( holiday tax ).The rooms are of a good size with a flat screen tv with a few English speaking channels the maids attend the rooms everyday. The staff are excellent and are a credit to the...

Just returned from our fortnight in Boa Vista staying at the Royal Decameron Hotel where the location on the beach was fantastic, and only10 mins drive from the newly built Airport Terminal. Room and hotel facilities were generally good although our junior suite accommodating 3 adults was in need of refurbishment. The location on the beautiful sandy beach could not...

If you like a quiet holiday in a clean place with good food ,nice drinks and friendly staff then this place is great. There are activities to take part in if you want but you don't have too! Some times the music was a little noisy and the animation staff were too but suppose its there job. The staff around...

We stayed there for 2 nights in February. First of all, the hotel is now called 'New Horizons'. We were pleasantly surprised by the great variety of food available almost all day ( between the main meals, there is a beach bar with snacks). The drinks are also included in the price and they make excellent Mojitos. The location is...

If you're looking for a posh swanky hotel where you have to dress for dinner and you want to feel a bit upmarket, this is not the place, try the RIU hotels on the island. To be honest we picked people up from them on trips and you could have been anywhere in the world. I would not relax there....

The hotel is fairly small with 300 or so rooms and we never felt overcrowded within hotel, around the pools or in the restaurant. The food was both plentiful and of good standard served with a smile. We are not heavy drinker but always a drink was available and with a wide choice but the cocktails were a bit unimaginative. The...
