This is a quaint place , it is clean , but the floors are so creaky it wakes you up when someone is walking around for anything. You are right around the corner from the mountain and town for food. If you are just looking for a place to crash and go ... this is your place.

This is the 4th year (2017) we have stayed with John and Judy during ski season. We are seniors and only ski and stay mid-week when slopes are less crowded. Heads in Beds is perfect for our limited needs. The common area is cozy and has a TV, microwave, coffee pot, and small frig. There is a jar of the...

I went for a weekend getaway on my own and found them. Cute place, very charming. Judy and John were great. I'll be back! Walking distance to the restaurants and bars in the area and a very laid back environment

Pleasant enough and clean enough. Charming for a hostel. Nice and quiet. Our purpose of staying for two nights is because it was the closest accommodation to a trail head we were seeking in the Adirondack Mts. Only criticism about the location is that there were very limited places to dine. This, of course, is not the fault of Heads...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Heads in Beds last summer overnight and it was an amazing experience. We loved the quaint house, the privacy of having a single room to ourselves, the vintage claw-foot tub, the comfortable bed in the master room and the hospitality. John was really sweet and welcomed us heartily. I would recommend anyone stay at...

My cousin and I, both diehard skiers in our 50's, had a two night stay to take advantage of the great conditions at Gore Mountain. All we were looking for were clean, comfortable beds along with a good hot shower. Heads in Beds was all of that!. While the other rooms offered more, we took the simple four person bunk...

I came to Heads in Beds this past summer and had a great experience. Having stayed in hostels before, I can say that my stay was much more comfortable and pleasant than the standard: The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Also, the owners are friendly and honest people. They were very accommodating in regards to my check in/check out time...

This hostel is like staying in a bed and breakfast. My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in Martina's room. The room was comfortable and clean as well as the bathroom and common area. The hostel is walking distance from the town which has a pizza place, wine bar, grocery store, and ice cream shop! We were also just...
