This quiet little B & B was just what we wanted. The owners went above and beyond with everything from taking our very-last-minute reservations to our cook-to-order breakfasts. We found the next morning that we were sharing the Inn with a couple, but we all had not even heard each other. And we had a baby with us, too. We...

My wife and I went to New Paltz to visit a couple of nephews and picked this place because it was near the center of town. When I turned down Church St., at first I did not see it. Then I noticed a sign for the Inn. Here is the thing, my wife and I had gone to college here...

Stayed for a night with my boyfriend, and had a very relaxed, pleasant time! Conveniently located, snug room, and friendly folks! We rented snowshoes from Rock & Snow, a short walk away, at around $15 a pair. Makes for a great weekend!

In reading other reviews of this place on Tripadvisor, I feel like I stayed at a different place. On the plus side, the house itself is beautiful, is close to town, and the owners are nice people, but the place is totally shabby and filled to the brim with tons of cheap Victorian kitsch; no shower in the room (down...

First and foremost, location: right in town, you can walk to any place you want to go....not the main reason to stay here tho. If you like eclectic, Victorian, intimate w a little laid back vibe, you have arrived! Owner Janet really cool and puts on an awesome breakfast spread w local ingredients including some local hot sauces I had...

Back for our second time. We love the Inn with its homey, treasure filled rooms, tucked away feel but within walking distance from Main Street restaurants, historic sightseeing and rail trail bike rides. Daryl and Janet feel like family with their welcoming ways, recommendations for everything from restaurants to recreation to local history. After a sweltering day biking the nearby...

Quick overnight trip and I wish I could have stayed longer. Great hosts with a very convenient location. Cool historical B&B quirks. Most rooms don't have full baths, so I will be booking the one that has a shower. There is a shared shower, but I'm not into that. Can't wait to go back!

Full of charm, history, fun, beauty and a custom breakfast delight. As soon as you arrive the welcome is warm and the house beautiful. We stayed two nights in the Balcony Room which has a private porch (small but seats 4 or 5 comfortably) a comfortable queen bed, TV and VCR, books and videos in the bookcase, a bathroom (that...

Do not pay any attention to the bad reviews here! The cat is lovely and lives OUTSIDE, the dog is a hoot and has no access to the floor where the rooms are and would not have access to you either if you so wished. The house is clean (don't know where this cat smell another reviewer is talking about...

We stayed here one night because we wanted to be central to the main street, and were a bit leery of a Super 8 by the highway. The location is up a hard to find and very steep windy driveway. Once you're there, it is quite close, especially if you walk through the gate in the fence, to the strip...
