Everything was nice. The hotel staff is pleasant and the price is always right. The location is convenient. Very close to shops and restaurants. This family owed and operated hotel is where I stay every time I am traveling to Sullivan County for business
We checked in at 1230am after a concert. the place was filthy, disgusting, stains all over the place, carpet, drapes. Top Covers were full of Stains we ended up leaving at 5am, . Super 8 hotel chain should be ashamed of themselves to even have their name on this DUMP.
Super dirty location roaches everywhere Staff rude, rooms have damage and not maintained if u nothing else available stay here at your own risk, shame because this is in prime location and so disappointing and disgusting 🤮
Bad part of town, dirty rugs, stained ceiling, moldy shower curtain, broken lampshade, cigarette burns on bathroom counter, people outside shouting obscenities, owner didn't unlock door so couldn't get in to get at included continental breakfast.
I recently stayed at the Super 8 Monticello by Wyndham and I have to say it was the most disguising hotel I have ever been in. If there had been anything else available left in the area I would have stayed somewhere else. First issue was when I went up to the room and pulled the bed spread and top sheet down you could automatically tell the sheets has not been changed. They were disheveled, dirty and there was a piece of a cut up straw lying there. I called the office to change rooms and was told they would have someone come up and change the sheets instead. While waiting for them to come I started have some allergy symptoms so I checked the air filters in the air conditioner and they were caked, looked like they had not been cleaned in years! I then found both a crack pipe and a needle!!! Again, if I could have found ANYWHERE else to stay I would have left.…
The smell of smoke in our non-smoking room hit us in the face like a ton of bricks. Dirty, stained loveseat in the corner. White curtains stained yellow, carpets filthy and stained. We immediately turned in our key and did not stay. Ended up shelling out $250 to stay at the lovely Best Western down the road instead of being able to use our Wyndham Rewards points. Wyndham rewards should be ashamed of themselves for being affiliated with this motel!!!!
Used this Super 8 on route from NYC to Ithaca to drop my son at Cornell. It’s very basic and in need of an urgent update, but the beds were clean and the aircon was very good. We didn’t stay for Breakfast in the morning, but I thought this place reasonable for the price and a 1 night stay
This place shouldn't be associated with the wyndham brand t. there wasn't any quality at this place run down looking dirty carpets in the halls and rooms. the bedding was dirty as well as the bathroom linen. The vanity sink had cigarette burns all around it and dirty. The lighting wasn't bright for safety walking around.
We requested a non-smoking room, and got a room that reeked of cigarettes. There were multiple burn marks on the floor, bedding, and sheets. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned and we found 3 cockroaches. We couldn't get a new room because the motel was completely booked. We paid over $180 for the night because there was an event in the area and the prices had been inflated. Horrifying motel, worst I've ever stayed in. Look at the Google reviews and similar site reviews. BEWARE
Calling this hell hole a third rate dump would be generous. The stench of cigarettes in the filthy, stained room was so rancid I was willing to eat the cost of the nights I booked and left in the middle of the night to go to the palace in Cobleskill two and a half hours a way. I don't know if the flies in the room stayed, but I sure left. This place is a disgrace to the Wyndom name
