Detailed Reviews
We stayed for a weekend in July and had great time. While there isn't much to do around the immediately around the Inn (it's about 10-12 min from Millbrook town), we found that the rooms were quite spacious so much so we didn't want to leave. The owner, Don, is a welcoming and knowledgable man, who is happy to help at all times. The breakfast he makes is SOLID. A great way to wake up daily. The only feedback i'd have is that they offer a 3rd night stay on a non busy day (such as Friday or Saturday) and a bit more of discount because we're pretty much on cruise control costs why and might tickle our fancy to stay longer. Can't wait to go back!

Exceptionally delightful room and wonderful experience. We stayed two nights in the Anne room. Innkeeper, Suzanne made sure all our needs were met. Very engaging. The breakfasts were wonderful, and locally sourced. Yogurt, oats, and berries, along with cranberry scones. Also, eggs, bacon, toast, along with farm fresh cantaloupe melon. We arrived early for brunch on Sunday and found it really great. Didn't have dinner at Vintage but would think it very good. Bed was comfy and firm, with lots of pillows. Radiant heating in the spacious bathroom. Toiletries and towels in bathroom were top shelf. Fluffy bathrobes, and fluffy wash cloths. Fresh drinking water in cute glass ewers, with matching glass cups in the desk area. TV is quirky because of rural satellite system, but you eventually get the routine. No fridge in the room and they understandably appear to discourage food in the room. Outdoor deck and seating area is a very nice feature with view of neighboring horse farm. Shower could have a bit more water pressure, but shower is very spacious. Cookies in early evening, while we called down for hot tea in early evening which was kindly provided. Some might expect more for the price being paid per night, but the hospitality is very pleasant and the quality on everything is very top notch.

From the very first moment we arrived, Andrea the InnKeeper greeted my wife and I with warmth and sweet kindness. We tried to soak in every meticulously chosen detail from color and fabric selection to the books and nicknacks on the shelves. Every room was warm and inviting. Evenings and mornings were punctuated with a lit fire and perfectly accented candles. My wife thoroughly enjoyed our room, The Jane, but any room will delight and awe. The breakfast and dinners were artfully presented and were almost too delicious to finish. The entire staff especially Andrea, Jackie our waitress, and Ginny our housekeeper kept our room impeccable and stocked with water, towels and toiletries. Parking was more than ample and WiFi was fast and reliable. We are definitely looking forward to a future stay.

Let me start by saying that Andrea the innkeeper is a gem. She was thoughtful and kind in every way. We felt like family. Our room the Jane was clean and beautifully appointed. We really enjoyed the little patio. We were a little disappointed with the restaurant. There wasn’t an opportunity for a hot breakfast that was only available on the weekends. What we had, ricotta toast was delicious it just wasn’t what we had expected. The restaurant was closed on the evening we arrived. On our second evening we ate outside on the patio for dinner. We were excited to see what the Chef had created for the nights farm to table special- but unfortunately there wasn’t one, again surprising, as we had been told that the farmers had been arriving with their goods during the day and he would be creating something special for the menu. We both ordered the signature burger which was unfortunately under seasoned. Our plates were removed and the bill was brought without being given an opportunity for dessert.

Just back from four nights at the wonderful Millbrook Inn. It is the epitome of a luxury country inn. Our room, the Beatrice, was beautiful, spacious, light filled, quiet and comfortable. The common areas are lovely with ample seating, a cozy fireplace, and a great collection of books. Breakfast is served in the conservatory each morning and consisted of fresh fruit, homemade scones and biscuits, plus a daily main course option of eggs and bacon, pancakes, or local yogurt with granola and dried fruits.
The inn's Vintage restaurant was beautiful with a tavern room and full bar, as well as dining in the enchanted conservatory (my favorite!). We had two dinners there and both were excellent. On burger and beer night, I had the best turkey burger ever--perfectly seasoned and moist.
The cleanliness of the inn is impeccable, as is the service. Susan, the general manager is welcoming and has great recommendations for area attractions and food. We love staying at B&Bs and have had many wonderful experiences, but the Millbrook Inn exceeded all of our expectations.
My husband enjoyed early morning walks on the grounds and surrounding area and there are many historic attractions within a 30-40 minute drive. Great experience in every way.

The inn is beautifully decorated, spotless and comfortable and Susan, the manager, gracious and friendly. However there were a couple of things that could use improvement. There are no luggage racks in the rooms and breakfast needs a little more imagination. There were two options each day and scrambled eggs was one of them each time. We chose them the first morning and were a little surprised that the accompaniment was arugula and not a breakfast meat that you would usually get in most other places. In a previous review someone mentioned the lack of fresh fruit. We were served a small portion of plain blueberries that lacked appeal and imagination. The pancakes were very good but again, a couple of blueberries on top and no meat. Small things but they do add to the overall experience.

Very nice property. Not yet a year old, it was clean and in good working order. During out stay, not many guests so very quiet as well. Andrea is the InnKeeper and does an incredible job. Personable and interesting to talk to, she sets the tone for quality service that all her staff provided to us. Food was very good, only suggestion is that there were no berries or fruit of any kind at the two breakfasts we had. This is one of those must haves at a B&B. Other than that, a very good experience and will return.

Recently, we were generously gifted a weekend at the Millbrook Inn and we were not disappointed. The decor was elegant yet whimsy. The breakfasts were scrumptious and our dinner at the Vintage - divine. We also loved the craft cocktails and conversations. Merci beaucoup to everyone who made it a memorable weekend - Yvette, Susan, Caitlin and Maggie. We will definitely be back.

Great B&B. Unfortunately, not really we were the only ones in the inn for our two nights. We had the run of the place. Our room was huge and had everything we needed. Don filled us in on the history of the place and the surrounding area, which we appreciated. He takes great pride in the inn as he should. Attention to detail is a hallmark for this B&B. Have recommended here to my golf partners for future trips. The breakfasts were fantastic as well. Well done Don.

This is a true gem and a wonderful place for a rest. Newly remodeled, it is comfortable and sassy at the same time. I really appreciated the mix of old and new furnishings-so appropriate for the structure. Our room was spacious and bright, bathroom beautiful and clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff is amazing. My absolute favorite part was the breakfast. OH my GOODNESS. Who knew eggs could be elevated to that level? The chef is incredibly creative and skilled. I have already booked a fall weekend and am definitely going to book a dinner at the restaurant.
