I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in town for 12U baseball. Close to the field, suite was a great size, halls were very quiet and when it rained I could go back to my room and wait it out. Can not comment on the breakfast I never went. Local places deliver so you don't have to leave hotel if you don't want to. But if you choose to go out to eat try New York Pizza, Bocca and Uptown Bar and Grill.
Everything was perfect. Got connecting rooms for our family of 6. Jay at the front desk was very helpful over the phone and when we got to the hotel. Rooms were clean. Hot and cold breakfast until 10am. 3 Pools: hot tub, regular pool (4-5'), and baby pool (1'). Easy short drive to the baseball hall of fame. And you can't beat the price there.
The Comfort Inn was as expected: quiet, decent enough indoor pool for chilly October weekend. It is not far from the free trolly station and actually not far from Cooperstown. Staff was polite and helpful. Plenty of parking. The Inn is in a picturesque rural area.
Maryanne was extremely cordial and provided us with a wealth of information regaurding local sites and how to navigate to them. The pool area was great it has a heated pool and two spas. After a long of walking it was a welcomed pleasure. The room was spacious and the furnature was comfortable.
On a recent rip we stayed in three hotels over the course of five days. This was by far the nicest. The room had two queen size beds, along with a sofa and the usual desk set up. Cleanliness was paramount and the bathroom was a nice size with no surprises. The complimentary breakfast was quite nice with a large selection of items (the bacon was cooked perfectly.) Everyone from the manager to the desk staff to the kitchen help were friendly and welcoming.
Room was nice size. Clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. The staff is friendly & the location worked very well. It is close to Cooperstown & the area is beautiful. The mountains will probably be magnificent during “ leaf peeper” season. The front desk was very accommodating. If we ever came back, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
A nice hotel almost in walking distance to the baseball dream fields (if there was a sidewalk). We got the last room - by the elevator and ice machine - somewhat noisy until about 11pm. very quiet afterwards. clean room, friendly staff. pool opens at 6 am for a refreshing swim before breakfast. First day's breakfast was overcrowded as a tour bus got ready to leave. second breakfast was enjoyable and better than expected for this chain hotel. good hotel but not the value for this price category - must be the location.........
Nice place to stay. Short ride to restaurants and Bsseball HOF but far enough to avoid traffic in and out of the attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel and room where clean. Overall, an A+
We liked our stay here a lot. Jay at the desk was so friendly and helpful to us. This place is just a short drive to the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Rooms were nice and big enough. The one issue we had is they did not have a computer to use there when we were there.
My parents and inlaws all stayed here for my son’s tournament. Because there really isn’t much options the prices are extremely high for what you get. The building is falling apart. The front entrance is dangerous to walk under. Pieces are missing. Our room was not cleaned daily. They just made the beds and gave us fresh linens. The swimming pool was small and had too much Chlorine in it. It would burn your eyes after 15 mins in the room. So the ventilation must need repaired as well. The stair way was dirty as well
