Clean, good service, indoor pool and hot tub. Very enjoyable breakfast each day. Good location just outside Cooperstown, close to many restaurants, brew pubs, etc. Solid overall, not sure what else you would want.
The place had excellent breakfast, was clean and very friendly. I thought it was pricey for a Comfort Inn. Location was probably he reason. The staff was quite helpful and I liked the views. They kept the room clean.
High rates, but that’s what you have to expect near Cooperstown in the Summer. There is nothing wrong with this Motel. It is clean and the staff is polite and efficient. Breakfast is included and includes eggs, waffles, bacon, etc. It is about 7 miles from downtown Cooperstown, but an easy ride.
Stayed for three nights for the Glimmerglass Festival and a family reunion. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Standard breakfast for the chain. Breakfast was held in one of the conference rooms so there was plenty of seating. Coffee/tea in the lobby had run out by late afternoon. Cookies/ cheese and crackers upon Saturday check in ( nice touch). The problem with this hotel is the lack of soundproofing. Kids running overhead until 11pm (most guests come for their kids baseball games). We could hear babies crying, the people next door talking starting at 6 am. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you.
We arrived early and the room was not ready. I dropped my son and husband off at the Hall of Fame and waited back at the hotel, where the very nice check in clerk called housekeeping and asked them to get our room done next. The room was very clean, so I can't complain about that. The beds were a bit hard for my liking, though my son and husband both liked them a lot. I also felt like the air conditioning was loud, but at this price point it doesn't make sense to nitpick. It took about 12 minutes to get down to Main Street, maybe 6 minutes to the trolley parking lot. The hotel isn't walkable as nothing is terribly close by, but parking is plentiful. Breakfast was consistent for the brand, but the employee who was refilling the chafers was very sweet and efficient. They had…
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in town for 12U baseball. Close to the field, suite was a great size, halls were very quiet and when it rained I could go back to my room and wait it out. Can not comment on the breakfast I never went. Local places deliver so you don't have to leave hotel if you don't want to. But if you choose to go out to eat try New York Pizza, Bocca and Uptown Bar and Grill.
Everything was perfect. Got connecting rooms for our family of 6. Jay at the front desk was very helpful over the phone and when we got to the hotel. Rooms were clean. Hot and cold breakfast until 10am. 3 Pools: hot tub, regular pool (4-5'), and baby pool (1'). Easy short drive to the baseball hall of fame. And you can't beat the price there.
The Comfort Inn was as expected: quiet, decent enough indoor pool for chilly October weekend. It is not far from the free trolly station and actually not far from Cooperstown. Staff was polite and helpful. Plenty of parking. The Inn is in a picturesque rural area.
Maryanne was extremely cordial and provided us with a wealth of information regaurding local sites and how to navigate to them. The pool area was great it has a heated pool and two spas. After a long of walking it was a welcomed pleasure. The room was spacious and the furnature was comfortable.
On a recent rip we stayed in three hotels over the course of five days. This was by far the nicest. The room had two queen size beds, along with a sofa and the usual desk set up. Cleanliness was paramount and the bathroom was a nice size with no surprises. The complimentary breakfast was quite nice with a large selection of items (the bacon was cooked perfectly.) Everyone from the manager to the desk staff to the kitchen help were friendly and welcoming.
