A hidden gem tucked away in Maplecrest. Exceptionally clean, very comfortable, Agnes is a wonderful host. I travelled alone and she went out of her way to make me feel "at home". She could not have been nicer. I'll be back.
We recently spent 5 nights at Moutain Treasure as we were in town for a family wedding. This is an absolutely beautiful B&B on a large and stunning property. The views are incredible, our room (Room #1) was very comfortable (it even has a vibrating massage chair), and our host, Agnes, did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one - which it certainly was. Our freshly made breakfast started us out every day on a positive note, and each afternoon we sat in the backyard checking out the beauty and having a glass of wine, putting a great "finishing" touch to our day. Mountain Treasure exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will definitely stay here again when we next visit the Catskills. Do yourself a favor - stay and enjoy this wonderful Mountain Treasure!!!!
My partner and I were attending a wedding in the area and booked a stay at Mountain Treasure. Our room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast prepared by Agnes was very delicious. She is a lovely host and very knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely stay again.
My husband and I were in the Catskills for a family wedding and this lovely B&B was about 5 minutes away from the venue. We got in early to account for any flight delays and to get some nice minivacation time in the area. We were within about a half-hour of many interesting things to do during the 5 days we were there. The room was large and comfy with a frig, but we did not need it, and a flat-screen TV which we did not turn on. The grounds are plush green this time of year and adjacent to the creek. Lovely area for walking and many nice places for dinner within an easy short drive. Agnes serves a wonderful, filling breakfast, included in our room price, and don't miss the treats in the afternoon (brownies or cookies!). And there is a beautiful friendly kitty, but he is not allowed into the guest area, so no worries if you have allergies. So if you are in the area this is the place to stay!…
As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel like family. The Inn is beautiful, the rooms are immaculate and Agnes is a fantastic chef and hostess. We were even given a surprise bottle of Proseco as a Honeymoon gift! We would absolutely recommend Mountain Treasure B&B.
We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mountain Treasure. Out host Agnes prepared a delightful breakfast for us each morning with a side board of coffee, juice, and treats as well. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. For an old house the rooms and baths are modern and updated and kept very clean. We enjoyed watching Agnes dig in the dirt in her back yard garden as well as a stroll to the creek which runs behind the house. We chose this B&B for its central location in the middle of the Green County area of the Catskills. It was an easy drive to tour the surrounding towns and short drive to the lakes and waterfalls with extensive walking trails. We'd go back again anytime, a great experience.
Just spent my anniversary here with my wife. It's a beautiful, quiet spot in the mountains just a few minutes away from Wyndham and Hunter. The room was spotless and comfortable and had a great view from the window. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the water pressure was great and the hot water temperature in the bath was absolutely perfect. Michelle, the owner was very friendly and accommodating and cooked us a great breakfast, made to order(excellent coffee too). The house and grounds are beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. There is a large peaceful yard area with a fire pit, deck, plenty of chairs and surrounded by a beautiful bubbling brook. We highly recommend Mountain Treasure and plan to visit again in the future.
Very comfy, clean and quiet room. We stayed in the Fiddler room and was at the end of the hall. I’m not used to staying in a B & B and was pleasantly surprised. We hiked all day and we’re so tired so unless I missed it, a small fridge would be great. Very convenient location too. Thank you. Hopefully we will see you soon.
My boyfriend and I went skiing at Windham mountain and had the pleasure of spending the night at Mountain Treasure. The place was immaculate, cozy and comforting. It was also super conveniently located from the mountain...(around 10 mins) Check-in was seamless and we loved our cute room. The next morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast. Agnes, the host, was accommodating and lovely. It was also nice to see the few other guests during breakfast time. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to a friend!!
This was the first time we stayed at a bed & breakfast and it could not have been a more enjoyable experience. The location is less than 5 minutes from Windham Mountain resort and 5-10 mins from the town's restaurant and shopping area. The home is well maintained, clean, and has a real cozy feel that adds to the experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The service was the best part. The hostess is friendly and informative. She offered recommendations for dinner and was genuinely interested in our experience. We enjoyed her pleasant conversation and the food/snacks were delicious.
