Our recent trip to NYC with a large choral group performing at Carnegie Hall, had us staying at two places. The duration of the tour itself, we stayed in Manhattan at the Grand Hyatt, as part of the tour package. Afterwards we wanted to stay for a few extra days, but could not afford anything in Manhattan. We found the...

We have just returned from a trip to NYC to visit Manhattan. As most hotels were fully occupied or too expensive, this La Quinta Inn seemed a good alternative, as it is close to the subway station and only 3 or 4 stops away from Manhattan. A few days before I had sent them an email to make sure they...

My husband and I stayed there for 6 nights. The last 3 nights, they made us change rooms every day. Confirmed reservations had been made 4 months in advance. They kept saying that the reason we had to change rooms was because the room we were in was booked for other guests. One night they moved us from a king...

This hotel was clean, had very friendly helpful staff , a good location and was reasonably priced for New York. We got there early from La Guardia (cost $16.00 taxi) so they held our luggage while we went to a nearby restaurant for lunch. (There were plenty to choose from!) Then we checked in and got a decent room, very...

We travel to NYC a lot to visit family and always have trouble booking affordable hotels. We, at last we have found a hotel to call home. We really enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. The rate was quite reasonable for NYC ($161 including taxes and fees) and the location across the street from the number 7 subway line offers...

After reading lots of reviews looking for a Hotel in NYC, I decided for this one. I think it is an excellent place that will raise the prices very soon. The location is perfect on a subway line which is busy at any time of day and week. You never feel unsafe. The neighbourhood one of the most multicultural of...
