**August 2016 review** Lots of construction going on, but may be different in a year or two. This is an interesting little hotel in NYC. Frankly, it's very small and looks dumpy from the outside. The rooms are tiny, and the wallpaper, carpet and sheets need updating.if those things are important to you, this probably isn't a great choice. If...

The hotel is getting older and needs an extensive refurbishment and renovation. 1. Noise : The noise from outside was very intrusive. The room was no sound-proof. You can hear the guests on the upper floors walking around. And early morning, it's like you are in the street with the noise of the cars passing in the adjacent street. 2....

The price was right for me at $100 per night and I don't think I missed a thing not staying in Manhatten. The hotel itself was nice and clean, very well kept up. Breakfast was average. The staff was friendly and did a great job keeping the place spic and span. My room was very small, but nicely furnished. The...

My family (grandfather, my husband & myself) spend the weekend in Astoria. There is a lot of construction around the hotel which makes it very difficult to park even temporarily. Breakfast was continental with variety of fruits, yogurt, cereals, juices and waffles. The only con is the parking. Overnight parking is available 2 blocks away @ $26 dollars a day...

Stayed here 6 nights, and it was a somewhat mixed experience. On the good side, it's a cheap hotel. The reception staff is very helpful. Upon our arrival they checked us in already at 11am, which was indescribably wonderful after a long night's travel. They also helped us with an unfortunate key situation and getting transport to the airport. Free...

Visited NYC in late March, and wanted to try something a little further out to "save some money". Chose this Comfort Inn because of its close proximity to the subway (about a block and a half). There is no shuttle to the subway, or any kind of hotel-owned shuttle service. They do have an arrangement with a cab service who...

We stayed there, when we attended a family member's 100th birthday. Since the family house was full, this was close by. Now it's now high end but the staff was friendly and the room (though a bit small) was comfortable. It's about a block from the Queendboro Plaza station of the subway. The sour notes were that there was no...

Stay for 3 nights. Firstly the good things about the hotel were it was only like 5 stops from Times Square and only 3 minutes walk from station. Very basic room and breakfast very very basic. Wasn't worth having. Lastly we kept our luggage downstairs with the receptionist on the last day and they lost our travel pillow and we...

We chose this hotel based on the price and easy access to Manhattan. Having stayed in Manhattan previously, we were happy to go for something cheaper. Pro's: The train station was a few minutes walk and so it was really easy to get into town. Breakfast is included. It is a small self service set up which was replenished regularly...
