Stayed 2 nights here. Good location to get anywhere in the Syracuse area if you do not want to stay downtown. Staff was friendly and pretty knowledgeably. Sister Hotel across the around the corner (Hampton Inn) has EV charger that guests may use for free (otherwise there is a charge). Lots of guests with kids. Some large vehicles with trailers and such to the extent they should not be parking on property so travelers can park passenger cars. Breakfast was great and coffee available all day.
Nice room - more modern and minimalist but everything we needed. Breakfast was very good - hot items as well as cereals, bagels, muffins, and yogurt. I would stay here again if in the area. We were in town to look at Syracuse University.
Staff very accommodating when I had questions and changed room location. The tv was crystal clear after a long day at the fairgrounds. Wanted for nothing except treats that you didn’t have to pay exorbitantly for. But were pleased overall.
This is a no frills hotel. No storage, no closet, no little soaps or shampoos (just large push button dispensers for all toiletries). Still nicely scented. Plenty of towels. Great complimentary breakfast, strong coffee. If you need a place to sleep and shower, this is it. We were here for a family gathering, not spending much time in the hotel.
Clean okay place to stay for a night. Nothing fancy, breakfast was fine, staff was friendly. Convenient to the airport. One big plus was a free driver from the airport to the hotel-even at midnight! That alone made this the place to stay near the airport!! We will return on our next trip out!!!
My brothers and I stayed here for one night. I had booked rooms in advance and we had to change one room to my brothers name. He gave his credit card but they stilled charged my credit card. They did credit his Hilton points. He had to write me a check when we got to his house. This is a really nice clean hotel. It is in the new style and is right across from airport, found nice restaurants with no problem. Breakfast was good. Did have a little problem with finding hotel with GPS because I thought it was in Syracuse but you have to put Liverpool,
We’ve never stayed at this brand hotel before and I must say I’m pretty impressed. Super clean & well appointed (we don’t need much, only stayed one night). It offered smart use of the space with a rolling table as well as surface/shelf space over the A/C unit. There were hooks on the walls for hanging jackets etc as well as hangers if you need to hang more delicate items. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotion dispensers for your use plus plenty of towels and the shower even included a step for shaving/rinsing. They have laminate flooring so it was super easy to tell how clean the place was. Also the amenities in the lobby were fantastic. Games, snacks, free hot breakfast. They had a smart white board near the elevators that gave area recommendations (like a write on/wipe off version of a concierge). While we’ve never stayed at a Tru property…I wouldn’t hesitate to seek them out in the future.…
My first stay in a Hilton Tru property. Contemporary colorful design, well done but quite minimalist. Room design was quite good aesthetically BUT No closet in the room, no chests for clothing, no chair to sit in ,except an office type chair on wheels with attached writing arm (like you had in school years ago but with updated design), no place to put an open suitcase except the floor, no carpeting, nice bathroom. The place is spotlessly clean, pretty good breakfast, overall service fine, but would be hard to be here for several nights if you had much luggage. We overnighted before catching an early morning flight. Convenient toairport.
I usually don’t like the coffee at hotels and end up going to a coffee house. This hotel had good coffee and the pancake machine was awesome. I’d stay again. The room and facilities were clean. There was plenty of parking too.
The property appeared new and fresh in photos. In actuality, the lobby and elevators were dirty, the room itself was sub-par with thin, small towels that are no longer white, uncomfortable beds, awful inserts for showers (rather than tile) and poor HVAC.
