Where to begin? We made last minute reservations based on the photos. They were so misleading. We arrived and called Diana to let her know. She said someone would be there in 40 minutes to greet us. Almost 2 hours later we called again. We weren't comfortable entering and wandering around a 'home' we'd not been too before. Like other...

We could have probably overlooked the cluttered, unkempt environment if there had been air conditioning but without A/C in close to 90 degree weather and high humidity it was impossible. The B&B did not come close to living up to the pictures on the website. The lake is at least a mile or more away so I would not call...

I actually stayed at LF Inn 2 awhile ago. My husband and I wanted to do the wine trail and I thought it would be fun to stay at a B&B. When first speaking to Diane (owner), she booked us at the original property(they say a picture can be deceiving) After a three hour drive arriving at the property was...

My husband and I stayed at the Lakefront Inn 2 for our 1 year anniversary trip. We stayed in the Premiere room, and it was BEAUTIFUL! We had our own private balcony overlooking the lake, and I don't think we could have been in a better location. The room was clean, smelled fresh, and very comfortable. We even had an...

We had a very enjoyable stay at this B & B in mid-May. We were fortunate enough to have the place to ourselves for the first two nights of our three-night stay, which is likely unusual during peak periods and weekends. It was just what we were looking for – a place to relax in lovely, very clean, comfortable surroundings...

If you enjoy the predictability of a good hotel chain, do not book here. The Lakefront Inn is a thoroughly unique vacation property; it will knock your socks off. It's actually one of two inns owned by the same woman. My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at the original The Lakefront Inn. It was magnificent. For one thing,...

My husband and I stayed in the premier room of Lakefront 2 the weekend of May 3, 2013 and had a fabulous time. The rooms were clean and the view from our balcony was amazing! Both mornings we sat out at the little table and had coffee while staring at the crystal blue lake. Diane is a bit of a...

I had an outstanding stay in the French CountrySide East room and highly recommend this beautiful property! Everything was clean, fresh, and very cozy. Breakfast was waffles and fruit, and served directly to my room. The hot tub was awesome with a great view. Diane was very accommodating and friendly, as well as the lovely innkeeper who was on staff...

“The room with a balcony is really the best”

“We chose the courtyard room, partly in the interest of economy and partly because we booked late and there was little else left, but we LOVED it. it's amply spacious, but still has a very cozy feel. However, in the season in which we traveled (early summer), it did have a slightly damp feel, which didn't surprise us because (a) the room had almost a cellar feel to it (though with beautiful French doors opening onto a patio), and (b) we did not choose to run the dehumidifier. NB, We saw two of the three other rooms in the house, including the most amazing top-floor room (incredible views, beautiful bathroom with skylights), and noticed that those were hotter than our very naturally cool room. (Hot air does rise, after all.) Speak with owner Diane to discuss your preferences; she'll help you find a room that suits you.”
