We stayed in the 3 bed banda with our kids. They thought it was great fun to sleep upstairs. The shower was okay - water was only lukewarm. For breakfast they had a small selection of fruit, bread and eggs. The pool looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try it out. Overall not bad value for... More

The rooms, service, hot water, breakfast, pool, ambiance, location, OMG, everything is perfect. Nile is at walking distance. Place is really great for relaxing and chilling. Definitely going to stay there next time I am in Jinja.

I had a nice peaceful time with my fiance during our two days' stay . The African setting gives one a homely feeling in Jinja / Uganda . Peter is there to see that the guests are happy and feel at home a hospitality quality no easy to find in many people in Uganda. Looking for a place to quitely... More

No resort is a bigger surprise As you go down the street to Eden Rock, you wonder if you’re off track. The road leads through a long slum until, there, right on the shore of Lake Nakuru (across the road actually) is the Eden Rock, with its comforting gate and security guard. Inside it’s beautifully done – in African style,... More

Appalling....Dirty...poorly managed and maintained. 1. The reception area is dismal and filthy poorly kept seating and dining area thats used by the hotel staff for their meals and slumber...the cushions have not seen soap for years... 2. Wifi and Dstv non existent.. 3. Mediocre food quality...broken and worn crockery and cutlery..breakfast very disappointing..the chef certainly needs training and sausages could... More

We have driven through lots of countries in Africa and have stayed at many places during our overlanding trip. Our stay at Eden Rock was quite and calm. We've enjoyed the swimingpool and went to buy some of the vegetables from the local people not far from the Hotel. We've parked our toyota landcruiser in the lovely garden where we... More

Comfortable, spacious cottages in nice setting. Good view of the River Nile just across the road from the Camp. There is free wifi in the reception/dining area and a great swimming pool which is very refereshing on a hot day. The staff go the extra mile to make their guests comfortable and David, the chef, is very willing to please... More

Okay, so here's the bottom line: the rooms are lovely, you get a shower and good bathroon en suite, which is saying a lot. I happened to land (and this is the luck of the draw, not Robert's fault, the manager) when a very large group of teenage Brits were there, so getting a good night's sleep was a joke.... More

We stayed here as part of a tour. The rooms here are well appointed with nice terraces and clean interiors. The showers are powerful and hot ( a novelty for our trip overall) The bar is quite small but stocks essentials, however there is no atmosphere. We did not eat here. I would recommend visiting the neighbouring resort (Nile River... More
