We stayed for one night at Stone Camp, from the time of arrival to our departure we were made to feel special. The meals were delicious and our game drives with Afrika was absolutely wonderful . I will definetly visit Mkhaya again.

A really great experience, only 6 guests here at the time ....no electricity but that made it very special...Staff were very friendly And chatty, and the bathroom facilities were very good. We went out on two game drives which were brilliant and Sidu our guide was good fun and nearly jumped into waterhole with the Hippos to get them to...

What an experience!!! This has to be done. Our first impressions were that we couldn't stay there in the semi open rondavel we would be too frightened. We were picked up at 4pm at the meeting point and driven quickly around the game reserve spotting animals. We were then dropped off at the camp in the dark. No electric only...

Two nights here is a must. The accommodation is thatched roofs over a stone surround and the middle 4feet is just wide open. You feel back to nature sitting on the toilet looking out into the bush with monkeys leaping around the trees !! Just lying in bed staring out at the trees with the birds is so relaxing. You...

A truly unforgettable experience in the middle of the bush, with pitch black nights filled with bush sounds and game drives (and walks!) which are guided with expertise and love for both the animals, the surroundings and the guests. Stone Camp in Mkhaya Game Reserve offers not just game drives, but also bush walks (daily 10:30) which are only available...

Having stopped previously at Mlilwane we wanted to try another park in the group and we weren't disappointed. From the 2 hour game drive on the way in - please ensure you have your hats and sunscreen with you - to the time you leave you are well looked after. The stone huts give a real sense of sleeping in...

We wanted to visit a game park in Swaziland and chose this one after reading the reviews. It is not a big 5 reserve as there are no lions or leopards and currently no elephants as they moved them because of the recent drought. We did get to see a lot of rhino, mostly white, and giraffe and antelope. There...

A lovely review, thank you! There are leopard on Mkhaya - not reintroduced, but occur naturally. However, these are hardly ever seen.

In order to experience an awesome Safari on land rovers and stay in the semi open stone (with traditional straw top) huts, my girlfriend and I visited at this animal refuge at Mkhaya Game Reserve, in February 2017. Our hut was comfortable and clean, with two single beds and mosquito nets, shower and separate toilet. There is a safe and...

What a truly amazing place to stay, the huts if you can call them that are brilliant you actually feel as if you are sleeping outside. All the amenities are amazing considering there is no electricity or gas, the food was lovely, the staff amazing especially when they put on their little show after dinner. If you ever visit Swaziland...

We stayed here for two nights with our 9-year old son. We absolutely didn't know what to expect. It ended up to be one of the most amazing experiences we had during our South African trip (even if located in Swaziland). Kind and extremely helpful staff. Good food (prepared without electricity). Although no electricity (only petrol lamps) we found our...
