Overall a great stay (our 3rd time). Venue is always beautiful and well maintained. General service was good, although we did seem to be ignored at Dinner quite often and had to call someone over. Food was great, although we were disappointed with some of the lunches.. very limited, i.e. just hotdogs or pizza day? Bar stock - various drinks...

What a wonderful quick stop! We spent one night on the way back from Jeffrey's Bay. We were very impressed with all the amenities, staff and the food. The bed was extremely comfy and the views spectacular! The food at lunch was outstanding and warranted a lovely walk along the sand to make space for dinner! The layout of the...

What an amazing place this is. As a family we had an incredible time. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The place was magnificently kept. We highly recommend Umngazi River Bungalows & Spa. The drive there was an adventure - give yourself plenty of time to work your way down the windy roads and negotiate through the cattle. dogs...

Our first visit was better than we expected and we expected a lot!! We will be back next year and now have this destination as a firm favorite. The sea food spread on Saturdays is the best.. After the hurly burly world of business it was so nice to just kick back. Bill and Pam Dobson

I found the reception staff unfriendly and not very helpful. One particular African lady pretty much ignored me on two occasions. Marcelle from bookings was excellent as well as dining staff. Overall very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Spa got my booking wrong so no relaxing treatment. I will be back. Thank you

Hi a few things which i'd like to bring to your attention 1. staff eating in the main dining area together with guests - unprofessional - l can share pic is required 2. Your bathrooms need a make over 3. Reception - the ladies need more training - they do the very least to get by - no value add-...

The staff are very helpful particularly in the kids dining area were I needed some food liquidized as I have a 9 month old baby. Beautiful beaches particularly...

Wonderful week spent at Umgazi, made memorable by very friendly, attentive staff, a beautiful tranquil location, accomodation with exceptional views and delicious meals. A special experience on the fly in package, which made our "bucket list" visit even more enjoyable.
