This is a new place we just open 7 weeks ago, located at heart of Principe Island city, between papagaio river and seaside, the rooms are well comfortable with air condition, flat tv DVD player, fridges.

Residencial Apresentacao, Santo Antonio, Principe is a sensibly priced hotel near the sea front in Santo Antonio with adequately sized rooms and excellent breakfasts where we spent a very pleasant four nights during Sep 19. Rito the very helpful owner, who speaks English, will provide transport to and from the airport, help organise guides with cars to take you around the Island and advise you where to eat nearby

Located in (really small) Santo Antonio, this is a good budget option for the island. The owner was really nice and having lived in the UK for 15 years, spoke excellent English. The rooms were all very well cleaned everyday and the AC worked very well. Water pressure in the shower was good and there was hot water everyday. WiFi was excellent. Breakfast was a slightly mixed bag. Bread was good but the scrambled egg was often cold or overcooked (or both). The fresh fruit juice and coffee were excellent however. If you want to do Principe on the 'cheap', this is a good option. I got motos out to the expensive resorts/beaches for the day. The place is so small, it wasn't a huge amount of hassle and saved me a shedload of cash! Overall, I recommend Residencial Apresentacao.
