A very large property located just a mile from downtown Lake Placid. Huge rooms with fridges and microwaves. We had plenty of room to dry out all our gear and tents in the room. Great FREE breakfast to start the day. We brought our thermoses down and filled them with hot water and tea bags/ hot chocolate for our snowy... More

We stayed in the 'main' part of the hotel next to the pool. We have young kids and this hotel was great for them. It was honestly kind of old and worn. But it was clean. And the kids loved being next to the pool so it didn't matter. The bonfire on the lake combined with the peak fall colors... More

Have stayed at this inn before and it was fine but this time as soon as you walked in the room it smelled, it turned out to be the bathroom, smelled very moldy, when we booked room it was the last one and now we see why, sucked it up for 2 nights because of hockey tournament, won't be back... Was our first time to Lake Placid. We loved our trip! We were looking for a hotel that wasn't expensive but that had good quality since we would be gone for the majority of the day for sightseeing. This met our needs. The room was clean. However there was a musty smell to the room but the dehumidifier did seemto... More

Asked if I could use outside water hose told absolutely NOT!! I would have paid for the five gallons of water to add to my tank in my bus!!!!! I am not sure the harm would have been instead now I must take a bucket and walk back and forth to room to bus. Using hose would have been done... More

First, thank you for taking the time to review our property. Second, I want to sincerely apologize for the water situation. I'm not sure of the reason for us declining the use of the hose, but I will look into it, and it won't happen again. Once again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Have a great day. More

Me and my friends came here on a trip to Lake Placid and had excellent service. The place even has a place for a campfire (it is often very busy as there is only one spot for a campfire). There is a rather nice pool as well. For a one night road trip, we could not have asked for more.

I was expecting my stay at the Quality Inn to be a way of saving money, and it was. But we got a beautiful view being on the top of a hill, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was helpful. They had a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub as well. The only downside is they didn't... More

We stayed here for a night and had a large room on the 1st floor but still had a lovely view of the mountains. The room was dated but clean and had table, chairs, microwave, fridge, coffee etc so everything you need. Beds were comfortable. We went for a swim in the pool which was nice and empty. Breakfast was... More

My wife and two daughters just spent the holiday weekend in LP. We drove 7 hrs from Toronto and the hotel we reserved at lost our reservation. 11:30pm, tired and fed up.
