Definitely better than most econo lodges. Beds are super comfy and generally quiet. Shower good and hot and hot tub and pool clean with towels. Great stay and affordable. Didn't stay for breakfast as coffee not ready at 635 am. No worries will come back....More
I stayed here in Sept 2016 for a conference. Due to the size of the conference and my late booking, this was about the only hotel in town that cost less that $500 / night. It is quite a distance from "downtown" Lake Placid, so...More
If you are looking for a budget hotel this one is ok. Probably the cheapest price closest to Lake Placid. All of the basics are fine but nothing special. The TV's are outdated but work fine. The breakfast was fine but nothing special. The rooms...More

more than a few eating places in the town. The Econo lOdge is away from the eating places. Yopu can walk it if you don't mind walking the distance. They are not next door to the motel at all. Found the smaller eating establishments to be a little easier on the wallet. There are a few places that have decent pizza. There is a Subway and a McDonalds but the McDonalds is several miles away and on the end of town.
