Warm, cozy and very affordable. The owner was very welcoming, even with our very late arrival. Extremely large room was warm and cozy even on a snowy, cold November night. Very close to the center of downtown Lake Placid, so just a 10 minute walk to be in the center of everything. Highly recommended!

Spent two days at the Maple in whilst crossing from Toronto to Boston. We were looking for a low cost room to keep costs down. However the room was dirty and very run down, the sink was hanging off the wall, the net curtains in the bathroom where yellow with dirt. I am guessing that the room hadn't been decorated... More

The room you reserved is our smallest least expensive room at $81 per night mid-week. The sink was not hanging off the wall. The back splash was half inch away from the wall on one side caused by a guest sitting on the counter. It has been repaired but by no means was hanging off the wall or effected its... More

Room was clean, small bathroom, but adequate. Owner "ROB" was very helpful and friendly. Location was A-1, close to everything. Pool available, looked very inviting, but we just didn't have enough time. Next time through definitely!!

Small motel, comfortable beds, and very clean. Located on main street, just a short way to the center of town. Owner is friendly and helpful! Perfect for my one night stay, and reasonably priced! Can't ask for more.

Well situated, simple but functional and clean room, friendly staff. We had a good night and were happy of our choice for one night in Lake Placid! I can't think of anything to complain about given the very reasonable price: we didn't have very high expectations either ;)

We just wanted a simple, affordable place to stay, fairly close to downtown Lake Placid. This worked out great. About a 10 minute walk from the main retail street. The room was straightforward, but clean and comfortable. Nice to have the pool for a quick dip on a hot day.

Three night stay to visit the region. Well located. 5 minutes walk to Main street Lake Placid. Rooms are neat. Bed is confortable. Everything you need is there. TV screen is cheap but who cares. Friendly service. The owner is very helpful. Recommended.

Reasonably priced motel that is clean and serviceable and 2 blocks from the center of town. Rooms are a tad small but when you come to Lake Placid how much time do you spend in your room anyway? Staff is friendly and helpful. What more do you need?

Maple Leaf Inn is a very nice place to stay at if you go to Lake Placid. Clean rooms, and very friendly and accomodating lodgers. A quiet place, centrally located, within walking distance from the center of LP. Nice garden with a pool and a bbq grill. Not overprized. Can be recommended!

We stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn for the Ironman competition, July 24. This is the way all motels should be. The owner and his wife run the motel. Before we got there we asked if they had a blender in the room. They said no but we could use the one in the house. Outstanding customer service. On race... More
