Hard to believe that such a lush garden can exist in such an arid area. There are numerous areas in the garden for different visitors to relax in quite a bit of privacy. There is also a pristine ice cold swimming pool, which is highly recommended on hot days, of which there are many. The rooms are simple, but clean...

We experienced a catastrophic mechanical failure on our Land Cruiser at the beginning of a 40 day trip. We discovered it as our rear axel was dropping oil all over their clean parking area. Not only did Hendrick put us in contact with a man who just happened to be the retired head of a Toyota repair facility, he loaned...

We spent an evening at Gesserts. It's an oasis. The rooms are welcoming, spacious and very comfortable. The hostess is very helpful. We had a wonderful evening and the most stunning breakfast where care is given to the smallest details. Thank you so much.

Clean and nice rooms, calm, off-road parking. The garden is large and nice. They also have a swimming pool. The best thing about this B&B is the breakfast, prepared by the owners: plenty of choice and very tasty!

We stayed over at Pension Gessert on two different occasions in May. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are basic, but has everything you need. The Wi-Fi quality is good, but the signal strength is not sufficient to cover all the rooms (for example room 5). The highlight of this guest house is definitely the breakfast, with...

My husband and I visited the Pension Gessert 2 nights; once en route to Windhoek and then again one night en route back to South Africa. The first night we slept in a double room with ensuite bathroom and the second time we ended up in the family room which has a double bed and 2 single beds also en...

Very good, personal guest house with lush garden and pool (and nice and friendly parrots). Rooms are clean and functional, secure parking in yard, awesome breakfast known across borders. No better choice in Keetmanshoop.

As happens so often in Namibia this hidden place looks like nothing from the outside. But as soon as the visitor enters the premises he or she is amazed by the hospitaliy, cleanliness and friendliness of the Guesthouse. I had not booked my stay. I simply drove into town and followed the "Gesserts"-signs. Keetmanshoop is certainly not the perfect holiday...

We stayed at Pension Gesserts on our way to Luderitz and on the way back. Comfortable large rooms with a lovely shady garden to sit in. Breakfast was varied with a yoghurt and fruit cup, plenty of fruit, cheese and cold meat if you didn't want the full breakfast. Hendrick and Zelna gave us freely of their time, explaining farming...
