We camped for one night at Namushasha River lodge, they have private campsites with private ablution facilities that were neat and clean, each campsite has a river view and it was lovely to spend the night there. A great stopover when travelling through the Caprivi
Friendly informative helpful staff was the first thing we were welcomed with which creates the perfect atmosphere during our 2days stay the camping2go was fully equipped with all necessary items situated perfectly Thanx Namushasha Team
We camped at Namushaha. There are just a few campsites. They are big and well maintained. Nice grassy area, a lapa to shelter from the rain and good ablution facilities. They have a view of the river and are a 5 minute walk from the main lodge and closer than the Camping 2 Go. The lodge itself is nicely situated and very green. Facilities there are adequate. Gondwana staff was helpful and friendly as we have come to expect. The boat cruise was exceptional with a very good guide and loads of hippos. Good refreshments on the boat. Reception gave us some water for the trip upon departure which was a nice touch. The lodge has a small pool which is welcome to cool down in the humid climate but probably too small when the lodge is booked to capacity. However we were one of few guests. The deck is very nice overlooking the kwando river. Nearby Mudumu park is worth a visit bit strictly 4x4 and even then better with 2 cars as we got stuck and took 2 hours to get out. …
Friendly welcome, lodge well integrated in nature, enjoyed the Camping2go accommodation in the most distant tent. Memorable experience was the hippo boat trip - being chased by an irate hippo. Dinner excellent.
The scenery is breathtaking, absolutely gorgeous and so green, I loved it, I’ll remember the lilies from the river and the hippos as well as the crocodiles! So much adventure- the boat cruise is a must. Their food is very delicious and their staff so amazing- I would like to mention Raili Hasheela she’s a ray of sunshine. She is such a delight. Kudos to the whole Gondwana team.
