We only stayed one night here, but it was an exceptional stay. Beautifully decorated, spacious and airy. The room as first class with a lovely patio area including plunge pool. Our host Rene was delightful. We stayed here because Lianshulu was being updated. It was a good move. When we dropped our hire car off, Rene's mother, Annetta (?) was...

Fantastic small lodge with a few house, all with their own pool overlooking the jungle. From our outside bath/pool we could see the elefant passing by. Very nice and qualified staff, brand new cars and boots and that for such a small lodge. We have seen very many elefants a watched them crossing the water. The guide found us the...

We were exceptionally fortunate in being the only guests when we stopped overnight in October whilst on a self-drive holiday to Caprivi. Beautiful location, luxurious accommodation, stand out food and welcoming hospitality made this one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Stanley, treated us to a mini safari and history lesson whilst driving to the lodge. We enjoyed...

We stayed at Susuwe in July 2014, just as it reopened after a major refurbishment. We hadn't a great start due to two sick children and a miscommunication about the pick up point ( you really need to be an experienced 4 x 4 driver to tackle 45 minutes on a deep sand road through trees) and the Game Park...

A bit of a shock at first as the lodge is a 45 minute drive along a sand road through the forest followed by a short river crossing to the island. But it was all definitely worth it. We were wonderfully looked after. Our room overlooking the river was delightful, we were very well fed in the restaurant and the...

A very special far away place in the middle of wilderness, wildlife, peace. The management (Su and Edgar) are warm and open hosts, the whole staff is just great (including the very knowledgeable guides). The food is excellent, and they cater to your needs. We saw a lot of wild animals, and had wonderful boat-trips on the water. The only...
