We stayed because someone recommend it. But decided to leave after one night. The service at the bar/restaurant is good and worth to go back just for eat never staying here again. The owner is so rude, they charged you a so called tax for tourism when checking out that I've never paid that tax in hotels in Moza probably...

This was a cool haven from blisteringly hot Ilha. The prices were reasonable, staff friendly and food was very good. There is a chalkboard every day with fresh items and they get wiped off as they are sold. I found the best WiFi reception and power points were in the TV area. I sat by the pool under the hibiscus...

The hotel is located at the old slave trade building, therefore an historical building worth the visit. However, the bed was terrible and the service and food at the restaurant was very poor. We stayed there only the first night of the three we had planned to saty at the Ilha de Moçambique and left with a back pain...

Comfort in Mozambique. Shower with hot water but none in the basin. Swimming pool and free internet connection. Restaurant with surly staff. Watch out for overcharging on the sandwiches! Breakfast comes in any order and even without plates!

I was looking forward to my stay. we had booked a week of exploring the Island and were looking forward to what we thought was a quaint place to stay. I booked the room months in advance and wanted to pay for the stay. The manger gave us a price and I tried paying but could not pay with Mets,...

Our stay here was characterized by confusion from the outset. There are two email addresses on their webpage; got no response when trying the first, and just after several days when trying the second. Once communication had been established we repeatedly made it clear that we wanted to book a family room for four persons. Yet upon arrival this detail...

Our first proper stay on a "mission" to see the Swahili coast from Ihla de Mozambique to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Hospitality, romms and especially the food was great. Tuna Carpaccio and Smoked Marlin salad - a dream for those who love the fruits of the ocean. Look forward to come back with my family and stay some more nights!

Visited Ilha with a friend for one night. The room was airy, romantic and beautiful but the bedding old and tired, the mattress ripped. The pool was green (as it was when friends visited 2 weeks ago) and there was no sign of management. Breakfast was included in the price but any extras were extremely pricey! 100mts for 1 scrambled...

Had lunch and was on pool across the day. Good property with nice restaurant and bar. Pool is differently designed with white cement finishing and keeping it simple gives good feel. Food is delicious well presented and in appropriate portions. Good place for day outing.
