We had a great time staying at the Palmeraie Guesthouse, in between visiting the Dades Gorge and the Todra Gorge. The staff were so welcoming and it was especially nice to have an unexpected mug of Yorkshire tea with the owner. The location is very beautiful and peaceful, ideally located for visiting the Todra Gorge. The place had a real...

We stayed for a night a Palmeraie Guesthouse on our way from Merzouga to Tardoudant. The location of the guesthouse is beautiful with great views on the palm trees and mountains. The guesthouse had several different terraces, each with nice views. From the guesthouse you step immediately into the palm groves and also the Todra Gorge is a 5 minute...

We stayed here in October 2016 and found a charming, peaceful place that looks over a valley with an "oases" comprising palm trees, apricot, almond and pomegranate groves and much more. A wonderful place to wander. The guesthouse itself is simple but a lot of effort has been made to make it welcoming. We were greeted with tea and although...

We drove by the hotel and saw the sign of this guesthouse. We had a great welcome, the rooms are clean and have a nice atmosphere. Than we were pleasantly suprised by the amazing food. We have been traveling for a long time and this is the best of Morocco and fits at least in our top 5 ever. You...

We stopped for a night at Palmeraie Guesthouse on our way from Marrakech to Merzouga, for visiting the Thodra gorge. The location was easy to find, about half way between Tinerhir and Thodra you got a sign right hand side, where you can also park your car. To get to the guesthouse you then need to take steep stairs downhill...

Palmeraie is a villa located about 7km outside of the small dusty town of Tinghir (also spelled Tinerhir). It is along the main road that runs from Tinghir to Todgha Gorge, but the villa itself is set back from the road and about 6 metres (steeply) downhill from it. So you have to look very carefully for a sign, not...

Stayed here for one night in April 2015. The highlight of the stay was a 2-hour walk into the adjacent palmeraie (palm grove, plantations) along the river that flows from the Todra gorge. The common areas of the guesthouse are quite nice, and the dinner in the downstairs dining room was quite good too. The bedroom we had was quite...
