From the outside and first floor, this hotel looks like a wonderful place to stay. And the eager friendly staff reinforces that view. But sadly this hotel is very dated; the rooms felt like an old-fashioned HoJos and there were no extras amenities (i.e. the only "extra" in the bathroom was a liquid soap dispenser attached to the wall between... I love it the traditional looking of this Kasbah - a traditional fortified palace, made from mud. I loved the room - even if was really small and not clean, with an old looking and not clean bathroom - for it's traditional Moroccan looking. They provide us Moroccan slippers and because we stayed in one of the rooms on the... More

We stopped for lunch here as part of a tour. Our guide had made arrangements for lunch for our party of 25. The food was excellent, with an excellent soup, and chicken kebabs with rice and vegetables. We were also given a demonstration of a Moroccan tea ceremony which was a nice touch.

Our driver stopped here so we could have lunch and relax a bit on our long drive from Merzouga to Ourika. We ordered a Moroccan vegetable salad and spicy vegetable soup - both very delicious and reasonably priced. We ate on a shaded terrace overlooking a beautiful tiled swimming poo. Clean restrooms.

The exterior and the lobby are very lovely, but the hotel is in need of some love and attention. Much about the rooms, such as lighting and plumbing, are not well maintained. Some attention to details and some sprucing-up of the room would make a vast improvement. Still, all-in-all, a fine place to stay because it is close to town... More

Good location on the outskirts of Tinehir. Easy 20 minute walk to the town center and markets. Their food is good and the staff accommodating. My first room had hot water issues so they gladly moved me to a better room closer to the lobby / dining area. Wifi in this hotel is a struggle from most rooms. However, the... More

I really like this fun riad with it's friendly staff, local musicians, very good food. It is decorated so beautifully with soft colors and has a big fireplace in the lobby dining area. I recommend it highly.

This was an ambitious hotel with grand spaces on the outskirts of town. The architectural details are very nice and add to the atmosphere. However some of the basics to do not work well. The plumbing was erratic, difficult to control temperature. The buffet breakfast had a fair selection if you arrived at the opening time, but if you arrived... More

Another reviewer on this forum indicated that the hotel was in the center of town. However, it is actually located on the outskirts of the city. The pool area is very nice. The rooms overlooking the pool where we stayed were very large with balconies. I saw one of the rooms that did not overlook the pool, and it was... More

I stayed here for 2 nights during a tour of Morocco with OAT. This was my least favorite hotel on the tour. The location was fine and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel is in need of renovation and it was very cold throughout the hotel in December. The bathrooms were very worn and the heat in... More
