Service was amazing - very helpful owner who bought arranged for someone else to buy our coach tickets for us whilst we went to Todhra Gorge. He also arranged for taxis to be ready and waiting outside the hotel the day we left to take us to the coach station, as well as arranged for us to visit a Berber... More

Our 5 story hotel ( owned by a local family who lived downstairs ) was built on the side of a cliff with many steps up to our room. Our room was small but had the most magnificent view over a flowing river, palm trees, lush green vegetable gardens belonging to the villagers and tall rose coloured mountains rising up... More

Delighted with our 1 night stay in this place. The owner got in touch with us when it went after half 9 and we still hadn't showed. When we explained that we were still over 2 hours away thanks to some genius GPS navigation, they offered to make us dinner and what a dinner it was. A starter of wonderful... More

Spent one night here recently. Arrived mid afternoon and had a lovely room, good food and enjoyed our stay. The approach to the hotel is not inviting - I'm not referring to the alleys, animals etc - that's just the location. But signage could be improved and made more inviting. Also, the hall, reception room etc were in darkness when... More

I have stayed here several times and have been to the area about 5 times. It is an extremely friendly hotel. The service is excellent, the food delicious and the bedrooms are really cosy. If it is hot the rooms will be cool and if it is cold (in December) the rooms are warm. You can't beat the breakfast on... More

We were there in winter, so the nights were cold. But these herberge has heater, so it was heaven. From the herberge to the gorge its only about 10minutes walk and if... More
