Off the tourist trail just into the Adirondacks, facing onto a beautiful unspoilt lake this was the highlight of our touring holiday. We could only stay 2 nights as we were close to the end of our holiday. If we had found it earlier on, we would have stayed a week. The motel was refreshingly non-corporate & furnished & decorated...

We booked this place last minute right before 4th of July weekend. The motel itself is probably from 1950s but Steve and Gwen did pretty good job at keeping things clean. I think few things could be added like Wifi and new TVs but to be honest I did not miss those things much. The motel is right on the...

This is my second year staying here while attending Americade in Lake George. The place is clean and the staff very friendly. It is convenient to Lake George and other area destinations. After a long day riding it is always nice to come back and porch sit in the evening. Both times I have stayed it has been in early...

Love this motel and Steve and Gwen even more so.They have treated us like family since they took over nine years ago. The rooms are clean, the location great, just a few steps to gorgeous Lake Luzerne. They have a lovely outdoor swimming pool, free use of kayaks, canoes and rowboats. There are grills, a fire pit, a chiminea, volleyball and...

Don’t let that quaint log cabin photo fool you – it might be indicative of the region, but not this motel. Whether you get poolside or lakeside (the motel has this odd design – there is a privately-owned house between the poolside and lakeside areas - guests staying at either area can use both recreation areas), this motel is primarily...

Yea the hotel is older and not modern with modern luxuries but still we loved it!!! The prices were fair we stayed in the one bedroom that was equipped with 2 TVs and a kitchenette we stayed on the lake side. The beach was nice with beautiful mountain views. Boats and kayaks are available for the guests to use without...

If you liked the fifties, you'll love this motel! Everything is neat and clean, smells good. Furnishings are dated, our room in the "North" section had no phone, no cell, no wifi. No clock radio either. The inn-keeper was lovely and helpful. Enjoyed canoeing on the lake and had a great time.

The Lake Luzerne Motel is actually two separate motels, the Lake Motel and the Pool Motel which is just a short walk ( two doors down ) on the same side of the street. Yes, the Motels are old, ( they were built a long time ago ) yes, the furniture is old, yes it is musty. It's the North...

I joined Trip Advisor just to write this review. We stayed on "the pool side" of the motel in cottage # 8. The place smelled of mold, must and rotting wood, as if it had not been cleaned or aired out in years. All I have to say is, they should take a little pride in their place and put...

I have 6 children and after reading the previous review, I was hesitant. I'm so glad we went! The owners were amazing. They do expect parents to actually watch their children and follow the boating laws, but they were so sweet and accommodating. We are even headed back again this summer. Do not expect modern furniture but it's a great...

“Although I didn't yet have the chance to get this room because it's been booked. I would suggest asking for the room on the end overlooking the lake, it has a big picture window. I would also suggest staying in the kitchenette room if you want to have one or two meals in your room to say some money”
