This was my 10th summer vacation in Lake George and my 3rd time at O'Connor's (I like to try different places over the years). I'm pretty sure, after yet another wonderful time at O'Connor's, I won't be going anywhere else in the future.
I have been coming to O'Connor's Resort Cottages since the 1960's... first as a kid with my family... and now with a kid of my own. The O'Connor family has owned these cottages since the beginning and have given us so many nice memories...More
The whole experience was excellent! the owners and staff were very nice and organized! the cottage and grounds are very well kept up ! we are returning labor day and already booked for our anniversary next 4 of july!
Spent 1 week here over the summer.

It's about a 15-30 minute drive depending on the day / time and the route you take. If you take route 9 you'll have to drive past the outlets and the traffic can really back up mid-day on the weekends. So on a Saturday mid-day along route 9 it will take a half hour. You can hop on route 87 (the highway) for two exits at any time of day and be there in 15 minutes. If you want to see what's in the area for dinner, shopping etc then take route 9. But try to avoid it mid-day - on the weekend particularly.
