Must admit we were a little nervous booking here based on the reviews BUT so glad we did! The owners were very accommodating to our group... while the sites are bit tight in the full hook up section along the river - it was worth it as we were able to launch our tubes and kayaks right from our site......

My husband and I spent 4 days in this campground and loved it! The owners were very accommodating and helpful. We had a truck problem and they recommended a great mechanic to us who fixed our truck in a few hours. The owners repeatedly asked us if we needed anything and if we were enjoying our stay. We received no...

I took my wife, 18 month old, and the grandparents here for three nights for the 4th of July. We had 3 tent sites side by side (2, 4, and 5) with great access to the water, a beautifully kept field and fun activities right outside our zipped doors. The facilities were well maintained and bathrooms and pool clean. Showers...

I see lots of bad reviews but what I don't see are too many good ones which is somewhat sad. We actually booked here for the first time for our week's summer vacation in August 2011 because someone RECOMMENDED THIS CAMPGROUND. Friends of ours from our town had stayed there before and recommended it. So glad we took their advice...

Based on the other reviews that I have read it's clear to me that this place is a very poorly run business. Not only that but the owner had the nerve to come on here and accuse my friend of lying when it was he, himself, who was lying. We did not have 15-20 people in our group, hard liquor...

I read the past reviews and I have to say they could never be more mistaken. I researched many campgrounds before deciding to make my reservation here. Not only were they one of the least expensive campgrounds but they were very friendly and accomodating. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay then River View is for you....

This was by far the worse experience camping I have ever had. The owners wife has absolutely no customer relation skills (if you don't like the business sell). I felt like we were being stalked all weekend like they were just waiting to kick is out and keep our money. I would not recommend this campground to anyone.

I have looked over the past reveiws and everything they say I can relate to and then some. My bestfriend and her finance planned there bacholor/bacholorette party in Lake Goerge. My friend called a bunch of campgrounds and let them know we have 24 people coming and we don't party hard but we do like to sit around the fire...

“There is a bit of road noise from rt 9, but it quiets down at night. There's a good drop from most of the sites along the edge to the water, but lots of access points along the way.”
