We love Trail's End. Dave, Susan, and Sherry are so welcoming. The setting is well-located and beautiful, the inn is lovely, and there are always interesting people to meet over breakfast or evening cookies. The breakfasts are scrumptious -- always a hot main dish, three kinds of homemade sausage (including vegetarian), and delicious muffins, scones, or other pastries -- plus...

The Trail's End Inn is a gem located in Keene Valley, NY in the heart of the high peaks of the Adirondacks. A spacious room with the highlight of the vacation for my wife - a sleeping porch. Indeed, it was very nice, especially given the unusually hot weather. The inn's central location gives visitors easy access to trails and...

My other half booked this B&B so I admit I was sceptical about the atmosphere but knew the description and photos were promising. I was thrilled to arrive and see that the entire B&B catered to the Outdoors visitor. Large trail and topographic maps on the walls and books on hikes in the area. They even have a hike log...

We have been going to Trail's End Inn for a three-day weekend in January for nearly a decade. We have never been disappointed. The inn is charming and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always delicious and ample. We love looking out on the woods from the attractive Adirondack-style dining room. When we return to the...

This inn is an attractive place with handsome Adirondack style furnishings. We stayed 3 nights and found it very comfortable and convenient to the High Peaks and Lake Placid where one of us was attending a conference. The dining room with separate tables and fireplace was welcoming in the mornings, and the food good. The staff were present, efficient, but...

We have stayed at the Trail's End Inn twice now and just for the record, we will be returning. Our first stay, we couldn't get two nights in the same room so we switched rooms. Our first was the Hurricane which I absolutely love (so much I hate putting it in this review for fear it will be booked next...

Have stayed here several times. Enjoyed the stay again. Great room overlooking the front yard. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great; liked the stuffed French toast. Found sitting on the porch very relaxing.Susan was a gracious host and gave some helpful suggestions about which peak to climb.

I had been here before for an extended time and chose to come back even though I had less expensive choices in the same area. Their breakfasts are set up early enough for me to get a good hike in and they are hearty enough that I feel ready to hit the mountains. This time I was there over a...

We just stayed one night in conjunction with a friend's birthday party nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff were uniformly helpful and courteous. Delicious breakfast included with room price. It looks like it would be great fun in the winter!

Cascade Cottage is a beautifully restored cottage. Three bedrooms easily accommodated the four of us. Can sleep up to eight. Cottage is accessible to most of the high peaks in Adirondacks. Susan and Dave are excellent innkeepers. Great attention to detail. Friends and I have stayed at the Trails End several times. Rooms well furnished and always clean. First time...
