We've been staying at the Keene Valley Lodge for a 3 days now and love it! We came from the west coast to get outside and take in the fall foliage. We chose a B&B deliberately since we enjoy meeting people and prefer the more casual atmosphere. We're in the Notman suite that has a kitchen with everything one might...

We loved everything about Keene Valley Lodge, especially relaxing in the adirondack chairs along the river. George is an awesome host. Breakfast was great. Our room was cozy and comfortable with thick towels and soft sheets & pillows and a big bath. We hated to leave but had already booked a B&B for a couple nights in Vermont. Thinking about...

Keene Valley Lodge was a fantastic base for our 3 day adventure in Keene Valley. My husband went there for business, but my daughter and I wanted to tag along. We were worried that we wouldn't be welcomed with a 17 old month toddler, but when I called ahead, George was very gracious and happy to have us all come....

Keene Valley Lodge is full of traditional Adirondack style. It's large and homey, but not fancy. We stayed several nights in Room 1, which is an excellent choice. It has it's own private entrance, and is actually a two room suite with bedroom and sitting room. The bed was so comfortable, and there were plenty of thick towels. The only...

For those of you looking for 'charm', this is a good choice. The Lodge is an old house with character....nothing fancy, but very homey and comfortable. The location is right in Keene Valley, so very convenient for outdoor activities, or the few restaurants nearby. There is plenty of hot water and great water pressure, which, after a long day of...

We are a group of guys from the UK and Canada that have been hiking together for the last 22 years. This is our first trip to the Adirondacks (and North America) and staying at the Keene Valley Lodge was fantastic! We rented the Beede Suite, Notman Suite, Room 2, and the Phelps Cottage. We used the Phelps cottage as...

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights here in the Beede Suite. 2 bedrooms with a bath and sitting area. We had our own entrance to the suite. Lori and George were our friendly and helpful hosts. Great fresh breakfast. Best eggs I can remember. The suite was very clean and comfortable, in the back of the property with...

We needed to be in the area for a wedding, and decided to stay here. It couldn't have been more perfect, with a lovely location, and delicious breakfast. The B&B proprietors truly love what they do, and they're always there at breakfast to chat about the area and local trails. The Notman Suite has a full kitchen, and the most...

We are two ICU nurses as well as student nurse practitioners who frequently stay at KVL (three times already in august). After long days of beeping monitors and sick adults and children we have a profound appreciation for the peace, quiet, and beauty offered at KVL. We have adopted KVL as a refuge for multiple reasons. The rooms and common...

Keene Valley Lodge is a big old house, full of character, comfortable, clean, and hosted by two delightful, welcoming and well-informed innkeepers. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty, including a different kind of homemade muffins every day. The wrap-around porch is a delight for unwinding after a day of touring this historic area in New York's Adirondack Mountains. Free WiFi is...

“We liked having space, so the one on the first floor that lets out onto the porch was our pick--had a sitting area and a bedroom along with the bathroom, and the bathroom seemed bigger than some of the others--but you really need to go through all of the available rooms to pick your fave--pluses to all of them really :)”
