As mentioned the lounge offerings are pretty minimal but the manager on duty when we stayed there a couple of weeks ago was very generous with the wine and very good about keeping what offerings they did have topped up. There's not a whole lot of choice in that area, so it is pretty much either the restaurant on property or the lounge if you want anything to eat and drink.

suggest calling hotel direct, not 800 res number. worked for us in Sept after early 0530 arrival on overnight from Honolulu. concierge level room was waiting for us after we negotiated the airport tram system and hotel pick-up at Federal Circle. ate breakfast, napped and were ready for late afternoon show time back at JFK for second red-eye to Europe. hotel gave us a couple of hours of late check out because hotel had space available. PS hotel shuttle service direct to terminal works great outbound; not so convenient inbound because passengers need to take the airport tram first (taxi service available but line was long).
