I am totally fine with hiking motels and clean but simple lodging. This place is a step short of a crack house -local police were here for an hour as we checked in - not sure what the issue was. My sheets were so stained and dirty that I had to ask for new ones form the front desk and lay them over. The room smells like air freshener and smoke - no breakfast, no amenities, bathroom is dirty, shower curtain moldy/dirty, nothing was cleaned, single ply toilet paper - I could go on. But the worst part were the filthy sheets and the bad smell. Oh, and the cigarette burns/holes in all the sheets and coverings. In all my years I have never stayed at such a gross place. This takes the cake. Never again. I don't think it's safe - local druggies hang out here. Two people left as I was getting "cleaner" sheets and didn't even ask for refund.…
Terrible, smelled of cigarette smoke carpeting looked 30 years old , stained everywhere. A/c units old and stained , bathrooms dirty, shower curtains moldy and mildewed. Avoid at all cost. Attempted to reach management several times, they have never responded
We go to check in and the smell hits you (Stale cigarettes) we head to our room in 2nd floor the stairs are carpeted and the carpet is stained and smells disgusting. The room was ok . Bathroom had hair on sink, toilet and floor. I’m not sure anyone really cleaned it. Plenty of Shady people hanging out in parking lot. Wouldn’t stay here if they paid me. Just read all the Negative reviews they are spot on.
My family and I were supposed to stay here while moving my daughter into her local apartment. Upon arrival, it was hard to find because there is no signage out front other than a small sign that is not visable from the road. As we drove up to the building there were yellow caution tape closing off a part of the parking lot. In addition there were questionable looking people just sitting in the parking with dogs roaming the parking lot. We drove around the building it didn’t seem to be in good repair and felt unsafe even going inside. I recently found out that my daughter’s roommate’s father was also supposed to stay there that night and felt the same as I did and also left. They charged my card and when I contacted Choice Hotels who is the parent company all I was offered was 10,000 choice points for a future stay.…
My husband and I checked in for one night to stay in Ithaca to celebrate father in laws 80th birthday who lives in Ithaca. We checked in at 3:30 pm. We turned the air conditioner on and hoped that our room would be cooler by the time we returned from the birthday celebration. Not many choices to stay in Ithaca especially with Cornell, Ithaca, and Cortland headed back to college. We booked a room that was supposed to be clean or you at least expect it to be clean. The shower/tub combo needed to be soaked in bleach. It had a ring around the tub with dirt covering the bottom. The carpet and the bedding looked liked it hadn't been cleaned in years. The windows were so dirty that you could not even see the highway right next door. The AC did not work. Our room was over 85 degrees. When we asked to change rooms, the person at the desk informed us that nothing was available. The lobby of the hotel has such a bad stench that it was unbearable to stand in. The hallways and stairwell had dirt and filth on the floor. Everything was stained and torn. We asked to contact the manager. My husband was given the email and phone number of the manager. We ended up leaving the hotel at 10:30 pm and checked out. We ended up driving home instead of staying due to the stench and heat in the room. We checked out and decided a 3 hour drive at midnight would be better than sleeping at that disgusting hotel. my husband has called the manager and emailed her numerous times. We have heard nothing from her. They charged his credit card. Don't stay here. Find another place.…
