Great hotel. Clean, quiet, and great location. Parking deck is opened and connected to the hotel. Self park is $10.00 a day, valet is available in front of the lobby for more$…..Monks restaurant has a delicious breakfast with great service, people actually eat there that aren’t staying at the hotel……Only bad thing was the thermostats in the rooms. They have a motion sensor that turns the unit off when there is nobody in the room moving. Unfortunately you don’t move much when you sleep and we woke up hot in the middle of the night with no AC. :-(

I have stayed at this Marriott several times and was always pleased, but this time I am very disappointed. The valet parked my car just beyond the front of the hotel and I received a $50 parking ticket. Front desk referred me to management. I had to chase down the assistant manager by making several calls and sending an email. She told me she would get back to me, two days later, nothing. Today a call to the General Manager has also not been returned. Customer service is terrible, they should be apologizing and taking care of the ticket instead of me doing all the calling. I also witnessed the valet the night before hitting another car, so I don't recommend using the valet service.

We spent four nights here on a family vacation to the Finger Lakes. This hotel is ideally situated, walking distance to many restaurants and even a gorge trail. Our room was exceedingly comfortable, spacious, and very clean. We had daily housekeeping, which we greatly appreciated. The lobby is a comfortable place to read or chat with a drink. The female bartender here is the BEST!! Parking is very easy in the attached parking garage. We had no issues at all during our stay, and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed here two nights during a Finger Lakes vacation. Marriott consistently provides a great level of service. Rooms were great and this hotel is in walking distance to several restaurants, breweries, and the Commons. Valet parking was helpful. Only issue was Monks, lobby restaurant and bar. Poor service due to lack of staff and a crabby host. Otherwise a great stay.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and the staff was kind and attentive. The location can't be beat if you're visiting Ithaca. No free breakfast. The Green Street Garage is mysteriously free right now so parking was easy.

I just attended Cornell Reunion and booked a Deluxe King room at this Marriott for over $500 a night to have a nice relaxing experience. The photo on the website shows a beautiful view of trees and vistas. Unfortunately, a building has been built feet away and my room (and, the hotel desk advised, all other rooms of that type) now look solely into the wall of the almost completed building next door (10 feet away). I’ve never felt more misled or taken advantage of by a hotel in my life. I suggest never booking this type of room at this hotel and asking in advance about the view from your room.

Ambassador level Marriott I stayed here x 2 nights during Ithaca grad weekend that I was not there for. The hotel rate on Friday was $445.00. This is one of my only gripes with Marriott chain jacking up room $$$ double to triple the rate.during big events . There is no break for loyal Marriott members. The staff is excellent and I had a nice ,quiet corner room thanks to Joanne who really exemplifies customer service. Valet park for the $20. I would not trust my car’s safety in downtown Ithaca. The valet is not set up properly as you do a u turn and pull up to a short curb. There is no concierge lounge. They give tix for breakfast.

The rooms are small, efficient and clean. The location near the commons is excellent. The busy lobby is small without much place gather or rest. Shortly before arriving, Karen from guest services sent an email that started with "DO NOT REPLY" and followed with information on the offsite parking and other fees, restrictions and limitations. This echoed the overall service we received at the hotel, functional but not hospitality focused.

The hotel is very nice, the room was great, the people were friendly. The parking is a problem with the construction going on next door. Once that's done, the lot on Green St. will be a more reasonable option. And the prices were insane, but that's not just this place. Everything in Ithaca was off the charts.

Nice hotel. Very clean, spacious room. comfy bed, great shower with strong water pressure. We used public parking a walking distance from the hotel. Only complaint was That our room was located on the second floor, right above the kitchen, so it was a little noisy, but we were too tired to move
