Nelsons is amazing place if you love liad back, nice people with beautiful scenery! I brought my now fiance to the Adirondacks and proposed to her right down the street and this is where we stayed all weekend. It was a clean, properly maintained property in which the owners make you feel like family. We actually stayed in the smallest...

The place is very laid back and relaxing. We were able to get a cottage for one night during Labor Day weekend which is not easy to do in that area. The bedroom was small, the bathroom even smaller - the toilet rocked and the sink was slanted forward, the shower was small and in the morning after getting wet...

This was the third visit for myself and my fiancée. Our accommodations were comfortable as usual. Within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants in Inlet which is nice. This is a beautiful area and we really enjoyed our stay. Would like to come back for the fall foliage if we can work it into our schedule - but...

The place is on the market so I think the owners are slowly getting ready to leave and a few things are a little worn--but really it's OK. The cottages are really really cute and named after states. There are no TVs. Just a couple-minutes walk to the back of the main house gets you to the lake where there...

I just returned from a weekend stay at Nelson’s Cottages, and couldn’t be more impressed. I had a wedding to attend in the Adirondacks on 4th of July weekend, and the wedding venue’s rooms were already booked when I checked back in April. I did a little research and found Nelson’s Cottages within walking distance. After a few, brief, phone...

Love it...not in a rut...just love the place...Ken, Linda, and Julie are just the best. Feels like our Inlet family when we visit each year. Cabins are always clean as a whistle and all the entertainment one could want is watching people try to launch their boats next door.

We stayed at Nelson's for a few days and nights on our way somewhere else, in their smallest cottage, the Rhode Isle. It was clean, cozy, and the bed was VERY comfortable. There is a long, sloping lawn down to 4th Lake behind the Nelson house. We spent our afternoons there. Thanks Ken, Linda, and especially Julie, who steered us...

We've been staying at Nelson's for quite a few years now and we have never been disappointed. Is it fancy-schmancy with turn down service and mints on your pillow? NO! But it is a wonderful relaxing place with warm, friendly people who work at and run the place. It's in a serene setting in the trees and on the lake...

I contacted Nelson's Cottages on the Thursday before Columbus Day weekend and was able to reserve a cottage for a family of four(which includes two teenagers) for that Saturday to Sunday. When I talked to Linda she inquired about our arrival time which I estimated around 3pm. On the day of our arrival we were running late by a few...
