I recently spent a perfect night at the Country Squire B&B in Hudson, and I look forward to another visit next year, when I will be sure to allow more than one night. I discovered the place online, and actually, it's much more impressive than it looks on the website. The charming owner, Paul, has done a wonderful job of...

We just returned from a lovely stay on 8/5 at the Country Squire. High marks for service, the room, food, nearby town, & short walk from Amtrak station (we took the train from NYC but there's also a parking lot adjacent to the B&B). We arrived to learn that the guests who'd been in our room the prior night had...

We stayed at the Country Squire in late June, 2013 for a wedding in Hudson. What a great experience. I normally am not a big fan of B&B's in general (prefer to rent an apt.), but Paul was a great host and made the experience pure pleasure. Our room was great. We had the Queen room. The country breakfast was...

My Mom and I stayed at the Country Squire B&B on 7/16/2013. It was very easy to find, and, with a private parking lot, it was great not to have to park on the street. Paul, the owner, greeted us at the front door and was ever the gracious host. He showed us to our room, the twins bedroom. The...

We stayed at the Country Squire in late May/early June with a group of 8. All of the rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. Paul, our host, went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. We had an enjoyable cocktail party on the porch. Thank you, Paul. The country breakfast includes fresh fruits...

My adult daughter and I came to Hudson to see the local historic sites. The B & B was clean, comfortable, and pleasantly decorated. Breakfast was nice; the quiche and fruit were particularly tasty. Paul was well versed in local attractions, history, art and architecture, and restaurants.

I had the opportunity to choose from several different B&B's in Hudson, Ny while travelling for my cousin's wedding, and boy am I glad i selected the Country Squire. Paul, the owner, was fantastic. He made our 2 night stay very comfortable, and we were greeted each morning with fresh baked goods, seasonal fruit, and some of the best coffee...

Paul was very personable and warm from the time i booked my suite, and even more so in person. He was pleasant, warm, and inviting, and made the time for my business group and I feel very welcomed. He was very knowledgeable of the area and provided us with information on where to go and what to see. I recommend...

I just got back from a great weekend at The Country Squire B&B. It is conveniently located just off of the main strip (Warren Street) so you have easy access to all of the restaurants, art galleries, bars and antique shops. The host (Paul) is very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly/accommodating. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated...

From initial booking to checkout, Paul, our host, couldn't have been more gracious, informative and accommodating - simply a no-fuss, pleasant stay, and with very reasonable pricing considering the area (and the pretentiousness of other local places). Don't let the outside of the building deter you; the inside is pure Victorian charm, and the breakfasts are amazing. I haven't been...
