I think we may have been the only guests in this hotel when we were there. It is an old hotel, located far from town. Rooms are OK, at least they are clean. Food was not good. Service was not good because if they could not understand your English they just pretended they did - which is just unhelpful.

When I read the reviews I got really scared but I had no choice since I was part of a group on this trip and it was booked this way. The location is absolutely terrible: very far from the center by a big highway full of traffic, eg. can't walk to a restaurant at night - that already should suffice... More

My husband chose this hotel because of its renowned name, but it turned out very unpleasant experience. For a standard room we have paid 1400 pesos (US $120) per night with buffet breakfast while it's not worth even the half of that. someone earlier wrote, the pool was small, but i've seen much smaller. i had one of the 110er rooms, and though in my opinions they werent very normal, it wasnt that bad. but i missed things like a fridge or extra-goodies in the bathroom (they only had lotion and shampoo). i didnt try the restaurant but was excited because they...
