The building has a nice and colonial architecture, however service is not up to minimum standard... When we arrived we moved the comforter on the bed and we found multiple hairs on the "clean" sheets.. We notified the front desk and they kindly changed the sheets... The second night we found more stranger hairs on the shower and the tablecloth......

The hotel is located in the old part of the city, well communicated in downtown Queretaro. The room was large, clean and quiet. Very nice people welcomes you at your arrival. They have no cafeteria for breakfast but there are very nice and inexpensive places nearby. The japanese restorant is very good.

Loved this hotel! Located conveniently in the central historic area, they were very welcoming and accommodating of my dog traveling with me. Staff was responsive to requests and helpful in providing directions.

The hotel has a decent location. The rooms and furnishings are kinda dated. Had kind of a motel feel. I've stayed in many hotels in Queretaro, and I just think there are better values in this price range. Right below our room was a travel agency; the guy that was working that day decided to come out into the small...

I have just returned home from a wonderful travel to Santiago de Querétaro. I already knew La Hija del Alfarero from my previous travel in August 2015, so I decided to stay there once again. Why is it that I chose La Hija for a second time? There are many other great hotels in the Historic Center, but La Hija...

We really were surprised to find such a lovely hotel in this lovely town. It was just outside of the main centre so it was super peaceful and quiet. Our room was spacious with the King bed and the staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel, while nondescript from the outside, was charming inside and a great value overall. We would...

The concept of boutique Hotel does not confront with superior service. The hotel has nice rooms with lots of space but the bathrooms could be better so the quality of the pillows and the Bed. They lease the hotel Restaurant to a third party which only sells japanese cuisine so no breakfast available. I didn't try the food. The general...

A few days ago, I stayed for two wonderful nights at La Hija del Alfarero in Santiago de Querétaro. I highly recommend this place because the Staff is super friendly and helpful, and there is a very quiet and fascinating atmosphere in the entire hotel. The rooms are huge and beautiful, you are going to love it! Everything is very...

One of our favorite weekend get-a-way places is Queretaro, Centro Historico and we now have 2 hotels that are top of our list. "La Hija del Alfarero" could not have been better. I think the owners read their TripAdvisor reviews and then act on suggestions by past guests as we found new pillows, new bed, (incredibly comfortable king size) and...

“We got a suite that had a small terrace, this was nice. There were two bathrooms and two beds One has to climb to the bathtub to get the shower. Please check this detail before you book, as if you have trouble with your knees or legs, this main bathroom is not for you. But check with the reservation staff. The other bathtub is easier to access. Good price, nice staff, good location.”
