Booked this hotel for a week end with friends. The location is just great, one block from Plaza de Armas and calle 5 de Mayo. They have arrangements with a parking a couple blocks away so you can enjoy walking the streets worry free. The staff at the hotel was super nice and attentive to our needs. The hotel itself...

We booked to seperate rooms (two couples travelling together). We arrived earlier than check in time and one of the rooms was not ready, so we took another room. This meant that we saw rooms both on the ground floor and on the upper floor. One. Difference is that there is more light in the upstairs room that we saw...

I happened to stumble across El Serafin Hotel Boutique on an oft-repeated internet search for hotels that accept pets as we were planning our 6-month visa run back to the States. Traveling with a dog (even a tiny one) almost always means staying in either a chain hotel or one that is, quite simply, not great, and often pretty basic...

Querétaro is a fabulous tourist destination and El Serafin has a great location near the heart of it all. Once you walk in, it feels like a home and is beautifully appointed. Our family loved the hotel and the staff, especially Lilian, and the staff were all so special. We would return just to see them again. We had young...

There needs to be a higher rating available as excellent is not enough! Cecelia, Liliana and the other front desk staff were beyond friendly and helpful, they gave us advice on restaurants and attractions, made reservations, called taxis and booked tours for us. There was coffee and breakfast available in our room every morning. The maid service was prompt and...

Love to stay in the old town of most cities, and this is no exception. You are absolutely central and it is perfect. Being able to walk and then come back frequently to use your own facilities is great. The staff are very professional and friendly. There are rooms upstairs, where the family would have lived before, and ground floor...

This hotel has many beautiful rooms and a charming courtyard where the morning sun was a perfect place to sit and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The rooms have brick walls and stone floors, and this kept the room comfortable temperature-wise. The room with two queen-sized rooms was extremely comfortable for two people....

This hotel was so highly rated that we had high expectations. They were not met. When we arrived, we waited in the road for 10 minutes because no one was at reception, or answered the bell or phone (we called from the other side of the door.) The hotel public spaces are cluttered, crowded, and filled with tacky tchotkes. I...

Well, I have to admit I was a little nervous when I saw that it was an eighteenth century remodel and had a "three-star hotel" rating, but with all the rave (five-star) user reviews, I decided to go for it. We were soooooo glad we did! My wife and I stayed there last night. Being Valentine's Day, we wanted something...

A magical stay at a beautiful hotel! Everything exceeded our expectations at this gorgeous and beautifully decorated 200 year old building and courtyard, from the lovely bedding, to the excellent breakfasts each day (gracias, Karen!), to the exceptional service from all of the wonderful and helpful staff!
