NDL was charming- a contrast to staying in lodges, but equally comfortable and well hosted by Linn and Thorsten. The landscapes in this part of Namibia are full of colour and a real contrast to our previous stop at Fish River. There was no air con- but we stayed in summer and had no issues sleeping- indeed evening temperatures were...

Stay at the campsite. One of the most beautiful campsites of whole Namibia! The views and scenery are amazing.. we loved it! Lots of space and nature. Wow! In the distance we could see the red sand dunes..

We camped here for 1 night. I would like to come back and spend some more time here. It is one of the best places I have camped at. Very helpful hosts. Location is remote. Stunning sunsets. The ablutions was top class.

Na tin Desert Lodge used to be a sheep farm but due to the drought and foresight of the owners it was converted into a biosphere. The first warning of "stand offish" is the sign at the entrance to inform all travelers that they have entered an area where they are experiencing their "busy season" and do not enter if...

We spent two nights at Namtib in the brand-new family unit and loved the place: wonderful remote location, beautiful hikes and views, and the great meals taken together with the charming owners made us feel at home. Our children chased dassies and klipspringer all over the koppies and didn't want to leave! We highly recommend this place and recommend staying...

For those who wish to escape the modern world and Don't mind basic accommodation this is great place for a short stay. Torsten and his family could not be more helpful and he even recharged the flat battery on our car for us. Food is hearty home cooked and shared with the family and other guests round one table. If...

We showed up after dark having pushed our bikes up the 12 km driveway and we were welcomed by Thorsten and Linn even though they were about to go to sleep. This was a great spot to stay. The campsites are located 3 km from the main lodge overlooking a beautiful plain and backed by rocky mountains. It was a...

This is where you have dinner together with the friendly hosts and other guests sharing travel and other stories in the middle of the desert. There is a nicely decorated patio where one can enjoy a pretty sundowner.

Amazing remote campsite, we had it all to ourselves. Good bathroom/wash up facilities - had to light a fire/donkey for hot water which was simple enough. Incredible sunset and sunrise. Friendly, welcoming hosts. One of the most beautiful and remote campsites on our 2 week trip. Would recommend at least 2 nights here, good stopover between Fish River Canyon and...

Namtib is a real gem in the desert. We spent one night on our journey between Soussousvlei and Luderitz and we were really impressed by the authenticity of the hosts Torsten and Linn. The owner calls the farm his home since he moved there from Germany being a child. The place is carefully maintained with love and dedication. The dinner...
