Nature provides an incredibly beautiful setting. The buildings are fantastic and unique.
Unfortunately the staff are loud, two faced, indifferent and spoil the whole (expensive) experience. Smell of sewage did not not help. No plugs in the bathroom basin or bath.

On our one month trip to Namibia we have seen plenty of different accommodations across the country and price segments (see list below). The Mowani stood out with one of the nicest sun sets and a remarkable game drive to see the dessert.

It's a great place. Loved the rock pool. Service was very friendly. Don't miss the sunset! The desert elephant excursion is definitely a must! The food is nice. We stayed in a unit with an outside shower which was really fun.

Yes you can book and pay here with a credit card when you arrive, no cash required. As mentioned though you will need cash for most fuel purchases on your travels around the country if you are driving yourself.
