We had reservation for two adults and were not told difference in buffet diningbroon buffet and the restaurant. We were put in the buffet section with loud kids. Etc. we asked to move to restaurant but we're told no space. However, I walked over and seemed plenty of room. The buffet was terrible. Food over cooked. My companion found hair...

My husband and I got married at Le Chambord in October 2016. It was a pleasure dealing with Roy to set up the wedding details and Joseph and his staff were very helpful during the wedding. They made us feel like family. The venue looked beautiful, food was excellent and personal service from the staff was a nice touch. All...

Stayed one night in May, we are local, but wanted to be near an event for early the next morning. I love this hotel especially for the staff and the restaurant. I understand the comments about the hotel needing some updating, the TVs, AC, decor a little outdated, but certainly comfortable. Charming and a real European feel. Roy and Chris...

My husband and I got married at this hotel this past October and we cannot say enough good things about it! The staff is just wonderful. Roy the owner and Joseph the matre d were both extremely helpful and a pleasure to do business with. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and all of our friends and family enjoyed their...

we stayed in the main house. while some people thought it was "well appointed," there is a difference between quality period pieces and old junk. the bed consisted of two twin beds placed together. they did not bother to match headboards. the rest of the furniture was just plain old: the finishes were worn and the pieces were not very...

The furniture in the main house are the same as in Tara our newer building, except for two rooms which are done with antique furniture. The room that they stood in has Stickly furniture from 1916 which is valued at over 20.000 dollars. I'm sorry they didn't appreciate the room. those two rooms have twin beds which can be put...

If you want to be treated like royalty on your Wedding Day, this is the place to do it! My husband and I just got married there on October 8th and we were amazed with the service and ambiance. We live in NYC and wanted a more rustic venue with beautiful grounds since we wanted a fall wedding. When we...

I think the key is managing expectations of this inn. We were looking for a clean comfortable place to stay one night in the are that was affordable and this fit the bill. Price is quite low for the area. Check in and check out were efficient and friendly. Room was quite large and clean. As others have mentioned, the...

I can't say enough great things about Roy, Joe and their staff. From the very beginning they made sure every detail was taken care of. Roy assured us he hires nothing but the best and he truly does. Leading up to our wedding we met with Roy and Joe several times and everything we spoke about was written down and...

The sort of wedding venues that gitls dream of. The service was in the large white gazebo and photos were taken in the flower-filled grounds with the beautifiul Hudson Valley trees in the background settng off the beautiful bride in her gorgeous dress. Reception room had pretty decorations and food was well presented and plenty. A good time was had...

A great spot for a cozy getaway. If you're looking for brand-spankin'-new, this isn't for you. But if you want an 1860s mansion with a lovely patina, I recommend it. Everyone is friendly. "European style brunch" is accurate enough. Lots of freshly baked scones, muffins and croissants, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh fruit and cereals served in the very pretty...
