We had arranged a visit to Eden lodge starting that evening but since you cannot travel after 5pm and our flight was late, Eden lodge arranged for us to stay here. We had looked at this upon our original booking but decided to go for one hotel our entire trip (less unpacking etc). The visit was made most special by...

When I visited in 2013 I booked this place for three nights of luxury as a treat for myself. I was not disappointed, I've read other reviews since which seem to take issue with the quainter aspects of this resort/hotel. One must remember when travelling to a third world county, different things are inportant. I remeber upon arrival being met...

We stayed for one night at L'heure Bleue ahead of setting off on a boat trip. This is a lovely hotel with ensuite bungalows with great views over the bay. The food in the deck restaurant was lovely and service great too. The hotel has a couple of lovely pools and wifi is available in the bar/ restaurant area. The...

Atmosphere: Welcoming staff, well-appointed bungalows, nicely maintained grounds. Friendly and relaxed yet very well run, with staff always paying attention and helpful. We were lucky enough to be here on a Sunday, when the dressed-up young people from around the area were arriving for the party in town (although you do hear the music from the town in your room)....

The hotel is in it's own well maintained shaded gardens with views out over the bay. The en-suite bedrooms are big and very comfortable with a picture window that opens on to an individual, large, balcony that extends out over the sea. You get a great view out over the bay from your bed. The staff were friendly and the...

I think this structure has a strategic position on Madirokely beach, It has a panoramic view and it is not on the sandy beach but very close to it which in my opinion is better because it is a bit more reserved. We were on tour, therefore we spent only one night in this beautiful hotel, it is a pity....

Very nice stay at l'heure bleu. We had a bungalow on the beach, great view when you wake up in the morning with the sound of the waves and the sun over turquoise water. All the staff was remarquable, great terrace for an evening cocktail or a last glass of wine before going to bed. Very enjoyable.

The bungalows on the beach with sunset were great, thank goodness for the fan coz it was hot. The staff were helpful even if you had to use sign language with no French!. Maybe a little more lighting in the rooms, especially in bathroom. I agree the hotel shuttle is way too expensive, just catch a taxi. Great place to...
