My husband and I agreed on two destinations for our honeymoon, Zanzibar and Madagascar as neither us had been to these islands. From these two, my husband chose the final one and organised the accomodation etc. This was a surprise for me, only to be told at the airport which one it was. At first when he said that it...

Unsurpassed customer focus 24/7 while all our needs and wants were catered for always with a smile on the face. Great food, beautiful environment and many exciting activities to participate in. Superb snorkelling. Thank you Jacques and your team for a memorable holiday.

You arrive in your little corner of paradise by walking off the end of a pirogue through shallow, clear warm water onto a sandy beach while the staff carry your luggage on their shoulders. After 10 days of touring, pot-holed roads (at the best) and 4x4s you deserve this! Be aware that some of the rooms are up steepish stone...

Very nice resort, good diving (whale shark!), 6 months later still thinking about the great time we had here. Lemurs were visiting us every night. The food was excellent! The staff is very friendly. Location is beautiful!

Getting there wasn't easy but apparently it is now possible to get there without flying to Tana first. Two flights, a 45 min car ride and a short boat trip and we were in paradise. The water is clear and warm and host to the best snorkelling sites we have ever experienced. The staff were great and attentive, always checking...

We stayed in the three bedroom villa with our own huge balcony less than 10 metres from the beach. A mini bar, air con during the night and meals to die for. We booked with MadagasCaT Charters & Travel and will not hesitate to do this trip again. Thanks to Jose, Jacques and Isabelle for superb 5 star service for...

This is a beautifully located lodge tucked away in an sylvan eastern corner of Sakatia island about 2-3kms from Nosy Be's west coast. The setting was pristine, lushious, intimate, nestling among trees with a forest adjacent. We had lemurs come to eat from the mango trees in the evening. The facilities were excellent, the menu was great, and staff very...

First and foremost, some useful #Travel Tips# (That’s why you came here right!?) *Flights to Madagascar are expensive, (even from South Africa); we managed to get a good package deal through a travel agency (Jenman Safaris – highly recommended). * Flights are via Air Madagascar which is notorious for ridiculously long and erratic delays, so it is extremely risky to...

Sakatia Lodge is one of the best lodges I've ever stayed at! We stayed in the nature bungalows, which are gorgeous little huts under the trees and in the lush gardens. The food is amazing - in 12 nights we never had the same thing twice - and the staff and owners very involved, friendly and accessible. The island doesn't...

As said by most, the facilities are great, the staff is fantastic. Sakatia Lodge is a one-stop solution to Nosy Be tourism willing to arrange any excursion. And... they speak English! Just don't go wandering around on the island alone without a compass!!
