There's AC & A fan in the clean room with a good shower. What else can you get for $90 The staff are helpful. The restaurant is slow when busy almost a 2 hour wait so get used to it. At lunch time you can half this when not busy. Breakfast buffet is a un apatising experience I just had...

We had a very good lunch. The menue was quite extensive. The Ghanaian dishes included our favourate...beens and plantain. Also try the ground nut soup ....it very spicy. Indian ginger tea was also well appreciated.

We have stayed at the Mariam several times, have tried other hotels in Tamale but found this to be the best. However it is far from perfect! It's location is good and is fairly quiet. We travel a lot over the North of Ghana during our visit almost to Togo and The Cote D'Ivoire visiting projects we have constructed eg. Schools,...

After a couple of nights spent in an other hotel in Tamale where internet was a challenge, I decided to move to Mariam. From the way it looks from outside and from the price they charge I expected to find better services. The rooms are small, not well maintained, dark and smelly; internet works in some rooms only; the staff...

First this hotel seemed to have good security and trustworthy staff. They staff was also fairly friendly. But this hotel is very overpriced. The owners need to put some of that money back into the hotel. The air con stopped several times and the Wi-Fi was poor and this place cost more than $100 per night? Someone is making a...

Stayed for 1 night on a business trip and had to check out at 6.00am. There was no water available to shower or wash in the morning. The receptionist refused to offer any discount on the basis I should have called down for him to fix the water - I explained that I was in a hurry to get to...

This hotel is clean and respectable. There aren't a lot of options for travellers in the North of Ghana and this hotel matches up to the requirement of safe and reliable. Its not cheap but then no where is that a Westerner would stay. There is a restaurant on site serving Chinese and Ghanaian food

This is just a basic hotel, with a marginally okay experience. I tried their on-line registration, and in hindsight I was not surprised to find it hadn't worked. I tried their phone number from on-line, and in hindsight I was not surprised I could never get through. The room was ok, spacious, and clean. My biggest problem was the front...

This hotel is basic, but still considered one of the better ones in Tamale. Security appears to be fairly good, my room was relatively clean and spacious, the parking is good. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant which had a fairly good menu, though I would describe the results as so-so, and an television that seems perpetually set to...

A nice hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and good wifi. I was sick and the hotel didn't have a blanket which was very disappointing, but the staff overall was kind and attentive. We asked a plug converter and they brought, we needed a recharge for our phone and they went to get it. Also the restaurant was bumping! there were...
