My wife and I returned to Stonegate for a fifth time for a peaceful weekend getaway. Since we've both retired, we've been traveling around the world and for various reasons due to scheduling, we had not returned to one of our favorite bed and breakfasts. As soon as we entered their home, Jane and Neil were gracious hosts who made...

We were glad to stay at Stonegate a few days after Thanksgiving. The room was pleasant, and the downstairs "living room" was available for guests. It was about 15-20 minutes by car to New Paltz, where there many reasonably priced internationally diverse restaurants. We enjoyed being able to skip dessert and get tea, pastry, and fresh fruit in the dining...

Found through Trip Advisor and reserved with Niel and Jane, the owners. From the moment we entered the driveway, the B&B was exactly as it was described. this 125 year old house was well maintained and picturesque in the October 2016 setting. When we rang the bell we were met by Neil and Jane who immediately mad us feel at...

We stayed here last night and it was a delightful B&B starting with it being immaculate plus charming. Jane and Neal served a great breakfast and it was a great value. Perfect spot to stay and visit the many surrounding sites.

Wonderful facility with only 4 rental units, I believe all were suites. Entire home beautifully restored and decorated. Breakfasts were healthy and wonderful. Definitely hope to return. Very close to beautiful Hudson River walkway and many fine restaurants

Attended a wedding in Poughkeepsie this weekend and after checking various hotels in the area, found the lovely Stonegate Bed and Breakfast and suited our needs in every way. The inn is lovely and decorated in a very tasteful way. We stayed in the Southside Room and was comfy. The breakfast next morning was delish and had a nice variety...

Spending the night at Stonegate was like coming home, even though we'd never been to the area before. The innkeepers, Neil and Jane, welcomed us warmly and took us to our immaculately kept suite. We couldn't have asked for better attention or amenities. The gourmet breakfast was amazing. We'd love to return to this lovely B&B.

What a lovely Bed and Breakfast conveniently located to Hyde Park, Poughkeepsie and Rhinebeck. We were there early May and was immediately impressed with the beautiful yard and lovely Victorian home. Jane and Neil greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the home and invited us to enjoy tea and refreshments. We stayed in the Blue Suite while our...

The Stonegate is lovely! From our first glimpse when we arrived, we were impressed. Our room, the Southside, was beautiful, comfortable, but not overcrowded with decor. It was perfect for my husband and I. The hosts are nice and seem to genuinely enjoy having guests. We would definitely visit again!
