We came to this place with high expectations. I was in the middle of my pregnancy so we were looking for a nice relaxing foliage weekend. The owner's welcome was below average. We were shown our room on the second floor with the bathroom and shower across the hallway which came quite as a surprise. There was no promised TV... More

We enjoyed our stay. Whispering Pines B&B is beautiful and so peaceful. Our hosts Celia & Taylor made us feel so welcomed. We especially liked Celia's breakfast! Such a variety and delicious. Our other hosts, beagles Trixie and Ajax were fun to be around. We felt at home here. I especially enjoyed the singing birds. We will definitely come again.... More

Just got back from our getaway at Whispering Pines. This had been our second time staying at the B&B and it was just as good as our first trip. The house is beautiful, rugged, clean and inviting. Celia is a wonderful host, excellent chef (her french toast is fantastic!) and is very helpful with anything you may need. The deck... More

Done a one lane road, nestled in the trees, Whispering Pines is our idea of the perfect get away. While we were there we were serenaded by millions of cicadas as we lounged in the hot tub on the humongous deck. Morning brought hospitality, and ample variety for a country breakfast. The hostess joined us after for a pleasant chat... More

We had a lovely time Christmas week at Adagio House, the sister property to Whispering Pines on the same quiet country lane. The house is conveniently located to High Falls and Stone Ridge with some very nice lifestyle shopping, a large (for the area) supermarket, and bank within a short driving distance. The drive to New Paltz is a little... More

Perfect for a group or big family! The house is so clean. The decor is amazing and modern, but still comfortable. We stayed the weekend of October 19-21 2012 for a wedding. Our weekend went so quick I was sad we didn't get to spend more time in the house. We live in Georgia, but if we are ever able... More

Nice welcome. very quiet in the woods. Convenient to New Paltz for dinner and the mohonk area. The grounds seemed a bit neglected.

Ok, so after 8 years having consistently stayed at this Bed & Breakfast, we've decided to give it a quick review based on what we've experienced during our stay. My initial impression -- where the heck are we? I'm a typical city gal with no survival skills when it comes to life in the woods. Upon arrival, we're welcome by... More

Our family stayed at the Adagio house for a wedding that was being held close by at another BnB. It was fabulous. We had plenty of room to work on things for the wedding, (i.e. cake and flowers) space was just perfect. The house was open and airy and with the fully equipped kitchen, deck for lounging & work, the... More

“4 full rooms. Afternoon Delight room was great - bathroom is small with just a shower, but nice. Bed was a little noisy. Don't know specifics on other rooms, but the master was BEAUTIFUL. Spa like colors, so peaceful. 2 seperate rooms downstairs share a bathroom down the hall. I think you would do well with any room!”
