My girlfriend and I stayed in the woodland view room for one weekend night in January. We were the only couple in the guest barn house. As soon as we arrived we took about a hundred pictures because it was so picturesque. The innkeeper Robyn is just about the sweetest person you could ever meet, and breakfast came with fresh...

Had a fantastic time staying here for two nights! I would recommend this B&B for anyone who wants a romantic, rustic, quaint getaway. Robyn was an absolute delight, the perfect host and extremely sweet and helpful. I felt like I was visiting a friend for the weekend! We stayed in the Captains Quarters which was spacious and included a real...

We stayed at this B&B at the beginning of November : Although we live in England , my husband is American and his ma & pa live in High Falls : C S's is an ideally located place to stay . The words "quirky" , "shabby chic" and "charming" come to mind : and that's just Robyn! Seriously : the...

A very pretty B&B in a great location. Robyn and Lucy(the pug) were welcoming and so sweet. Any request we had was met with kindness and prompt service. The Capt's quarters was cozy and spacious with a relaxing seating area in front of the fireplace. There is a sink in the room as well as a bathroom in the hall...

Robin, the owner, is warm, friendly, and full of helpful information about the area. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious! We also loved Lucy, her cutie-pie pug. We LOVED our stay, We definitely will...

Very rejuvinating and one of the best night's sleep we have had anywhere, Great breakfast by the warm fire, a Wonderful friendly vibe here....

Ownership of this inn changed in early September 2013; however, the problems I mention in this review would have been pre-existing. Robin, the new owner, is very friendly and talked with us about some plans she has for the B&B, which should improve the situation. She described the decor as "querky", which was correct ("worn" is also a good adjective),...

I was not surprised by Ms. Peterson's review. She was fairly demanding and uncomfortable. What was surprising was that she and her husband stayed 4 nights in the place she describes as quirky and uncomfortable. She led the conversations at the breakfast table and ate everything on her plate. I took my housekeeper over to Woodland View after they left...

Great stay! Bill and Judy were warm and welcoming. They accommodated our early breakfast time at 8:30am. We were staying for an arts workshop that started at 9am. Bed was comfy! River and waterfall put me right to sleep.

We stayed at Captain Schoonmaker's over the weekend for my birthday and it was a really lovely and relaxing place to stay. The breakfasts in the mornings were wonderful and Judy and Bill were very welcoming and super friendly. It was also situated so that it was very convenient to reach New Paltz and Kingston. The B&B itself was very...

My wife and I had a great weekend at Captain Schoonmaker's. Bill & Judy are lovely people. The property was amazing, there's a beautiful stream and waterfall right outside the rooms, 4 nice balconies that look out. Breakfast was great too!
