We were attending a family reunion in the area, and this hotel worked for our weekend dates. Actually, initially there was only availability for one night, but we asked for wait list consideration, and Rosie called to offer us the second night -- much appreciated! This hotel is a fairly new structure on the site of an historic hotel. The... More

Food was excellent from the calamari to the Ruben to the Cole slaw to the steak. Everything was cooked to perfection and was delicious. Many beer choices and even a few local ones on tap. The waitress Jennifer was awesome. Atmosphere was nice and the place is nicely decorated.

I stayed 2 nights with other family members. My room was very clean with a larger than usual bath room and an excellent bed. The well stocked hotel bar was friendly and the free breakfasts were very good. All my family members were also pleased.

This hotel is the anchor of a small village nestled in the Delaware Valley where sport fishing is a major draw. Although dating back years this hotel has been tastefully updated to reflect the charm of a bygone era. That is the ambience that I prefer. But if you like lots of florescent lights, bright gaudy plastic, with plastic cups... More

Spent one night as it was convenient to our children's sleepaway camp in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The hotel was fairly clean with a rustic appearance and atmosphere. The room was large and the A/C worked well. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly. The bar and restaurant staff less so. At $200+ a night, I'd opt for a... More

Hancock is a town on the NY / PA boarder in NY. There are a number of motels and hotels in the area to stay in but the only one that I would recommend for families or couples would be the Hancock House Hotel. It is always clean and the rooms are fairly large. Internet access is free although a... More

We were with our Miata friends and it was much fun. We had dinner and we were really happy with our service for all 9 of us. The bar area is where we ate because of the dining room taken for a rehearsal dinner. Tanya took such good care of us. She managed to get all the food out to... More

Everything is relative. If Hancock were a resort town or otherwise popular destination, this place might rate 2 or 3 stars. But it's probably one of the best places for miles around. Located in downtown Hancock, it's centrally located. Then again, that's not saying much since there's not much to do in downtown Hancock. At check-in, the staff were friendly... More

Rooms clean, comfortable, ours had a ceiling fan, which I loved. We didn't need to use the air conditioner. We were on 2nd floor which was nice because we could take the stairs and not have to wait for the elevator. Free breakfast for guests was good. My burger for supper was excellent! My hubby not as thrilled with his... More
